There was no mention of Magilton lined up for a position there on News Now or The Daily Record, although the latter does provide a feature on potential new arrivals which includes former Town coach Paul Hurst as a possible replacement. Why not provide Stubbs another opportunity, after all this was an individual who obtained a first national cup honor in over a century and for a time (at least) made them recognized once again.

Recognised again? You make me laugh. In my short 49 years on Earth, I’ve come to know that the Edinburgh HIBEES are recognised worldwide without the need for any trophies AT ALL. “Recognised” That is a beauty, Saint!saint jude wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 1:53 pm.....,and for a time (at least) made them recognized once again.
The list of managers makes me feel a bit sick if I’m honest. For me, no to “Magic”, massive obvious no to Hurst, and Heckingbottom doesn’t inspire me or any of my buddies. Not even sure about Stubbsy. Gordon Strachan isn’t making himself available but a manager like him would be ideal. And it’s nothing to do with the stature of the “name”.,..... it’s just the “no nonsense” attitude and knowledge of the game. Very disappointed that things ended with Neil Lennon. Thought in the long term the wee ginger Celtic b*stard could’ve achieved that “2nd position!”

He knows the Scottish game well enough! Certainly keeping play-off hopes alive. Another decent result today v Airdrie.
Michael Appleton new favourite. Apparently played for West Brom, Wolfie? Hmmm.
John Doolan, who was Stubbsys assistant still not ruled out....... I’d prefer him at ER. Has a closeness with Leanne Dempster after the 2016 cup win.

Are they scrapping the quarters this season, Ash?
