Pre Season Germany Trip

Town are in the process of planning a pre-season training camp in Germany ahead of their 2019/20 campaign.
The news is little surprise with manager Paul Lambert having won the Champions League while a player with Borussia Dortmund and completed his coaches badges in Germany.
He has also previously taken his Norwich, Aston Villa and Wolves sides on German trips in pre-season.
It’s believed that a number of friendlies against opposition yet to be confirmed will form part of Town's trip.
The Blues last visited Germany in the summer of 2015 when they trained and played a friendly at Fortuna Düsseldorf, the home side winning the match 4-3.

I know Paul Lambert has playing career connections to Germany, so wouldn’t be surprised if he has connections still regarding possible future players . There was a hint from Evans recent interview that we are reviewing our scouting network . So Germany seems logical.

No Kuntz wants to play in League One though. That may be an issue.

There was talk years ago of Rod Fanni going to Hearts. My God, that would’ve been superb.

Now that’d be a good time! Far too many things would need to click into place for me to make it though. Work commitments & the annual Italian trip with the Mrs.

I would certainly be up for it, work/travel commitments allowing. Lets see what the venues and dates look like and see what can be done!
