Indeed - it rather focusses the mind. There are not many people around willing to sign away £180,000 every Monday morning week in week out for year after year just to keep a football club afloat. Oh, and the club owes him over £90M but he's not chasing for that right now either.

You can't argue with any of it but people will, I've said many times that without him we would without question have gone bust, that is a fact.

Illuminating to say the least.

Objectively no one who didn't have the best interests of the club at heart would be doing this.

£180000 - the equivalent of 9000 extra bums on seats at £20 a pop (which only covers weeks of games at home - so in reality we have to sell out every home game to just break even).
