Isn't Rotherham closer to Scotland than the other ? americans are notoriously lame at geography in (my) defense but believe correct.
I don't see what Birmingham get up to (other than when we play them) and was only aware of this issue some time recent. Nine points would seem excessive. Seems that jackass who got on the field and went wild on an opposition player wasn't the sole issue of this story.
Can or will be it overturned ? Won't be the first instance a team were threatened with (a) points deduction and no eventual action was undertaken, the penalty was rescinded. If it goes ahead as intended they'll simply stay in the same league from August. Points loss won't take them down with us and would (otherwise) kill off any promotion ambition they had before it.
