Can’t believe i’ve been to 11 of those grounds which shows it’s not just Town who’s suffered over recent years.

Some long away days there. But I suppose that's all part of the adventure. I wonder if some people will struggle to get away tickets to the small grounds.

Had a chance to look at it more closely myself.

Mevans, ......... If you read TB.com, I'm sure all Ipswich Town FC fans are immensely grateful for the financial stability you've brought to the club over the past extremely mindnumbingly boring 11 years.

But......,

You now share a division with Wycombe feckin Wanderers!! Get that sh*t sorted this season,....... And not with a further south route to LG2 and Mansfield feckin Town.

Ipswich v Wycombe ------> , a league game? Jaysus H feckin Christmas!! SBR sitting in Heaven with his head in his hands.

Sounds a bit like Hibernian v Alloa not long ago lol but I take your point. We will return.

Yep, Alloa, Dumbarton, QOS, Stranraer!

But as you've said..... New grounds and the best of memories will be created.

Dreading negative match reports from feckin Spotland though!

Well, with Sunderland & Ipswich @ 4/1 & 6/1 respectively, the bookies are "usually" correct. And with Pompey at 13/2, they're winning the play-offs!

Surely not that cut n dry! Surely!!

(Cue Airplane! quote)

You got some competent teams in the above and from August is going to be anything but straight forward. Don't pay much attention to Bookmaker odds, they sometimes f*ck up and it's not always as presumed at start of season. Anyone believing the team will see a promotion at first attempt seem (no offense) somewhat deluded. I'd set realistic expectations before even one game is underway, that being don't set targets too high and be prepared for any eventual disappointment. With Evans still overseeing matters and skeptics still out on Lambert, it's reasonable to not expect too much (too soon)

The bookies got it right before a ball was kicked last season regarding Town. They had us marked down for relegation and I took them on and lost.I'm prepared to go with them this year and back Town to go straight back up.

Thats different though, cus it was a negative most chose to believe it, this is a positive now, most don't like that lol.

Worth a read for away supporters. Looking at the size of the grounds it just shows what a big club we are to most of our rivals.

Bluemike unfortunately it does provide accommodation for two

Lmfao, I just need to be sure my head is still wanting to be in football mode come August; right now I'm not even thinking Footy at all, not missed it one bit, hopefully its just a culmination of last season being so bad that I needed a total break mixed with really good times for me atm..... time will tell.

That’s a pretty decent guide.

Yes, we obviously do have a bigger ground than most and likely to be one of the best supported teams in the league, but it doesn’t mean much if we can’t get it right on the pitch.

I’ve got no real idea how we’ll adapt and if the drop in level will mean we’ll float to the top or near the top. It’s a bit of an unknown... I’m optimistic, but aware that this could well be a helluva more tougher experience than we think. I actually quite like the feeling of the ‘unknown’ and looking forward to the season.

Yeh I am looking forward to it, I just hope the support stays with Lambert and the team if things don’t go our way.

Is it a rebuild? Can understand that ^^^ if its a rebuild.

If languishing near the bottom at Xmas (which i do not believe will be the case) then fingers will be pointing at Lambo, guaranteed. The club is no different to any other club in the country and the fans will vent their "beliefs".

While I don't think we will be near the bottom, I have a nasty feeling (judging from the increased take up of season tickets) that expectations are unrealistically high. We had a squad that was the poorest in the Championship according to the league table. We have reduced it drastically and brought in a keeper and a striker. I hope he can make the step up because if he is as successful as Sam Parkin, we are in a bugger's muddle.

It's a huge gamble to take when we are so lacking in goals (including the midfield). There's still time for reinforcements but in all honesty the squad doesn't fill me with confidence.
