So WHO Changed the Caption photo comp Picture...? and why.
 Oh dear! Flashbacks of headmasters office back at school. "WELL, BOY? WHO DONE IT?"

There's another thread there explaining the situation, Blueblood. Just thought it was in bad taste with the young lads family issues, regardless of it being months ago. No big deal for us on here to forget that one and go onto Darren Moore.

Edit: just got your pm, Blueblood......., totally cool mate, but have a go anyway....... Few funnies so far with the Darren Moore pic.

Here's mine:
Cinema guy voice:

"They wanted another Bond like Moore. They also wanted a black man to be Bond. So they killed two birds with one .357 magnum. Darren Moore is 007 in the new action packed thriller, "From Doncaster, with poverty and late night muggings."

Tomorrow will be a tough game without doubt, they have played two games less than us and if they were to win both would go top. They can not be underestimated the lads really need to be on it tomorrow. 2-1 home win.

They've beaten some good sides at home. Away form (if you can talk about form so early) is slightly less good..They are scoring but also conceding so hopefully it'll be an open game. Still think.it could go either way.

Would still be in the championship with that squad

Cheerful reading before today’s game 👀

Ipswich will have the weight of history pushing against them when they take to the Portman Road pitch this weekend.

Their recent record when coming out of international breaks is dire to say the least, with the Blues not winning in that scenario for five years.

Since the victory over Millwall in September 2014, the Blues have played 18 games, failed to win, drawn eight and lost the other 10.

Then you have to add in the manager of the month award won by boss Lambert, which itself brings a 'curse' for those picking up individual honours.

In the last three League One seasons, only eight of the 27 award winners have claimed three points in the very next game.

We have the curse of international breaks and Manager of the Month awards and against a decent in-form team. Adds a bit of spice to it. Looking forward to the game.

Don’t see Town losing but see goals either way. 2-1 or 2-2.

Only got back from Manhattan late last night needed a break away from the game for a while. That said it's kind of pleasing to be involved again and we got ground to make up in the league. Doncaster are no pushovers and even with home advantage it won't be completely clear cut. Game start should be some half hour away and believe we'll win, maybe 2 - 1 they will at least score themselves. Teams have been announced :

Holy, Young, Woolfenden, Chambers, Kenlock, Skuse, Edwards, Judge, Downes, Norwood, Jackson

bench : Nolan, Wilson, Dozzell, Norris, Georgiou, Dobra, Keane

Starting line-up is no suprise, but no Huws, Rowe or El Mizouni in the 18. Maybe injuries, but plenty of competition for places.

I’m surprised Garbutt’s not in the squad today if he’s fit. Thought he’d at least be on the bench.

Stats suggest we’re struggling. Maybe we’ll get an update from someone at the game soon.

That was bad. Outplayed. just long balls which Donny are mostly soaking up. Kenlock has been seriously poor. But still 0-0 at HT. Mick would be happy.

Can’t help feel we need Nolan or someone in midfield to help Skownes. Just a lack of creativity and composure there.

Can’t help feel even though we’re being outplayed, we’ll nick this one.

What an incredibly S H Y T E result in a league game @ Portman Road.

Doncaster Rovers?

"Get your effin head out of the 80s, Mark!"

As Charnwood says, stats look soooooo poor. Understand if there is no match report.

2nd top though, game in hand and all that.

Well Doncaster can go away feeling they should have won. Outplayed and outpassed a town team which didnt look like they had a plan, if they did, it wasnt carried out thats for sure. Donny played crisp short quick balls while town seemd to get the ball, turn at full speed only to mispass, overhit or overrun the ball. Our defence looked good, but the midfield let them down, poor skuse and downes left to do most of the work with edwards and judge huffing and puffing but time after time the final ball was missing. One example, judge free kick, 35ish yards out on the angle and he plays it over everyone for a goal kick, corners wasted also. Donny played narrow and cancelled out most of what skuse and downes tried to create but our wide players didnt really trouble donny or get in our strikers.
