Re: A warm glow....
whit???? Thought they’d be classics amongst Suffolk based Ipswich fans along with the 78 shirt.
That pinstriped pioneer shirt on eBay is what they were all wearing on the team poster I had on my bedroom wall when I was 13. Ah, memories. And that particular bedroom wall was in Geelong, Oz. Had Australian pals ask, “Who the hell are eepsweech Taayn, Maaark?”

Well yeah I don't mind the pinstripe one but can't stand Town shirts with Red on them, just doesn't look right to me xxx

Yes, understand that. Like Hibs with the yellow. Hate that.
I don’t like ITFC tops with hints of red as it’s mistaken for Rangers north of the border..... but that one from the 80’s looking like the France top....., must admit, I do like it a lot. Can only be mistaken for France, ..... which isn’t great, but better than Rangers!!

Re: A warm glow....
That top last week on eBay......., bid and won it. It's just arrived. £27 + £2-45 postage. Under £30 for a MINT, pioneer ITFC top with the older embroidered badge that I've wanted for YEARS!! Delighted. Probably never wear it but at least I know it's there hanging up, unfolded in the wardrobe.

But, constantly being reminded that its a family forum and the pic the wife snapped of me trying it on isn't suitable for viewing!
