No Norwood and KVY in the squad.
Judge and Edwards replacing them.. Toto in for Wilson in 3 man defence.
Big loss Norwood,KVY and Wilson but today we’ll see how the good squad is. Feel we’re lightweight up front physically, so hope we keep it on the ground.

Yes, can't help wondering where a goal will come from.tangfastic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2019 11:16 amNo Norwood and KVY in the squad.

Hopefully another clean sheet can be achieved, then we only need one which either Garbutt or Jackson can deliver.

I’m watching it online www.skysports/football
.....but wish I wasn’t !
I think we’ve now conceded the same number of goals this afternoon (so far) as we have in all our previous five away games played this season.
I can’t believe we’re playing so poorly.

2-0 down at HT and deserved to be.
Not sure why Edwards was left alone to mark two big players at the far post for the first goal. We have 3 big CB’s .... where were they?
And Toto gave a cheap unnecessary penalty away. We need a big striker up front. I’d put Keane on for Dozzell.

In all honesty we have played this poorly on many occasions this season, particularly for 45 minutes. The difference is today the opposition have taken their chances.
We have no goal threat with one up front. Nsiala is having a poor game, he's too clumsy.
And the first goal.....Skuse didn't close down the cross, and Edwards showed the problem of playing an attacking winger as a wing back. Can't defend a header.

Absolutely diabolical by Town.
Too many changes to the side - no midfield to speak of.
Players looking out of their depth or off colour
Dozzell
Nsiala
Edwards
Judge
The usual crap no show by Town after an international break - which we didn’t even need to take up that option ffs !!
Poor all round by Town snd Lambert’s choices for me .
Will the real Town show up 2nd half?
2 goal deficit too much to recover from ? I suspect so.

True Edwards can't but he was isolated also. him verses two is not good
We are poor so far, very poor but give the opposition some credit also. Not seen anything of note from Dozzell but still lets see what happens in second half

Re: Accrington Stanley vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
NOT the score you were hoping to see. Thought ahead of time this would be a tricky game. Unbeaten run and in first place versus a team in the lower reaches, to coin a phrase this was always going to be a banana skin scenario. Checked out stats and seems we've had the greater possession and chances are about even but obviously there's something amiss there.
Even if we lose there's still a game in hand and we remain in #1 position but will wait until the event is over and then gain the bigger picture of what occurred and if players and manager really warrant castigation. Lot of ground to make up in the second period, disappointed with events thus far, feel sorry for the those that traveled to witness what you could argue something of a bizarre scoreline.

Something significant needs to change at half time if we going to turn this one round. I’ve not written us off yet but it’s looking highly unlikely we’ll be going home with 3 points.
Just sent Bluemike a picture of himself on tv, f*ck he looks pissed off.

Re: Accrington Stanley vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Playing high balls into the Accrington tall defence, waste of time, our goal threat came when we kept the ball down on the floor, Make 2 changes please Paul, Nisala is a liability on a yellow, Edwards headless chicken, Bring on Huws, Georgio, and Keane, and stop this bloody hoof ball ok

Accrington gave away a two goal lead at home to Shrewsbury earlier in the season with the Shrews scoring three times in the final 13 mins, so there’s always hope.

Re: Accrington Stanley vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
It were brought to attention that in London yesterday Brentford scored three times in the final three minutes to win a game and overturn a two goal deficit. No game in finished until it's over but we it's up to ourselves to get out of this mess and redress balance. Will try and get Radio Suffolk if possible to catch in with events but in no way giving up on the team at what you could argue still a premature stage of the game. We're better than this.

Amaze me with all this VAR and shoulder to arm, and yet still we have matter of fact decisions goal line. That looked over
For me all professional clubs should have goal line assistance
