Is Gareth Edwards refereeing us this week?

Back to winning ways... 3-0
If you mean Gareth Thomas - he does look like him. Or Mark Strong.

A nervy 1-0 or 2-1 win. Need to get back on the horse even if it’s an ugly win.
Sorry, yes Thomas....

I can’t see the image for the caption comp
thats weird, although Marko posted it this week so anythings possible.

Try deleting your internet cache/browsing history on your device and then try again, alternatively can you check if it displays on another device.
Tried all that still can’t see it

Back to winning ways today, another narrow away win.

Using Marko’s brief but very informative description of this weeks photo

Caption PL “ will somebody just show Ando the bloody photo”!

Caption 2 PL “last time I’m wearing anal beads to a game”

Holy, Wilson, Nolan, Huws, Keane dropped / rotated. Norris in goal.

Norwood and Downes back in ... Woolfy back in alongside chambers.

Looks like a 4-4-2. Rowe and Edwards on the wings.

Surprised Holy has been left out.

Just visualise that scene in When Harry met Sally and Meg Ryan does the orgasm in the restaurant. Lambert has the same expression.

Rested? Or dropped?

Balls on line here....... wasn’t overly convinced with watching Acc Stan game. Looks as if he could have “flap tendency”...... a common goalie phenomenon. But didn’t comment due to not seeing him enough.

So....... rested??? (Why?)....... or dropped?

Unusual you rest a goalie. He’s on the bench - so must be fit. I’d say dropped.

Maybe it was that first goal the other night between his legs or flapping or his distribution ie lumping up to their centre backs.

Norwood, Downes and Woolfenden being back in is decent news. This is the day Norwood bangs in a hatrick.

Dropping a GK is never good for GK confidence, esp after 5 consecutive clean sheets up to last weekend. Next time he’s picked he’ll have the jitters for sure. I think if I were Paul Lambert I’d have given him another chance this afternoon before even thinking of dropping him. Could this be a disciplinary decision cos it does seem rather strange and surprising, maybe he’s been late for training or something similar ?

I don’t expect us to lose this one or even draw although I don’t expect a landslide win either. 0-1 or 0-2 to Town but given my recent form in the Prediction League this counts for nothing.

Just dived in and voted or the away team win, didn't p*ss around with checking opposition scores. After all It's not what they get up to, it's what we have to do and focus on. Game time must be fast approaching, believe we'll win by 1 - 0. Weather could play a factor also.

Team as such :

Norris
Vincent-Young
Woolfenden
Chambers
Garbutt
Rowe
Downes
Skuse
Edwards
Norwood
Jackson

Bench

Holy
Wilson
Nolan
Judge
Georgiou
Huws
Keane

Been on top for most of the game, good to see Norwood on the scoresheet, lucky PL tinkered with the team.

Nolan looks like our best player since he’s come on.

Skuse had a sound game as usual before he came off, but a couple of times he had a chance to set up a counter-attack but checked and passed back - Nolan looks far better to link attack. We’re far better with Norwood up front. Downes, too.

Edwards gets brushed off the ball too easily, for me. Wouldn’t mind seeing Georgiou on the left wing.

Need the second goal.

I assumed he was... because I can’t see Skuse being taken of tactically. It doesn’t happen - but Nolan looks good.

I don’t see playing Norwood as tinkering, surely he’d be a first pick when he’s fit ?.... dropping Holy could be seen as tinkering and could backfire on him if it triggers a GK loss of confidence.

Disappointed to see Wycombe leading at Rotherham, I thought today would present an opportunity to pull away from them.

Peterborough equalised at home to Coventry. Hopefully we can do the job this afternoon and make sure we bring home all three points, a second goal anytime soon would be good.
