Not much mention of the Nolan goalbound shot early in the game which was going in only to be diverted away by an arm !!! Ridiculous and for the bloody stats to say nothing on target is totally wrong cus the Two that were on target were goals all day long !!!

On a side note Wycombe will not stay in the top Two for sure, utter garbage, top Six may be pushing it too.
That was one of the handballs i was meaning Mike

We are still second in the league with games in hand and two draws in the last two games is no disaster, especially if remembering if not for very poor standard of refereeing we could of won. We played two decent teams but both came for draws and got them. Top of the league and come for a draw!! I mean would you ever see Liverpool going anywhere in the premier for a draw?

I do stand by my remark that if Norwood played couple more games i think he would of scored. Especially the header in the first half that skewered off his head. Yes it was wet and whatever but a Norwood on top of his game would of scored that. Now the Coventry game is now the BIG one and one i feel we could do well in. Be huge support for Town in what is a neutral ground. Though don't like the Saint Andrews stadium very much personally

We have reasons to be cheerful, pity not ecstatic

Just got in and am shaking

It's been years since seen such a shambles from the officials. Yes can say 16 shots or whatever the total was with non on target but that's really not true. How many pens should we have had?

Players booked for what? what is this Ref on? Chambers was never a penalty it was outside the box.. Brilliant save though.

I do think couple more games and Norwood would of scored and now hes booked misses Coventry City but i would of been sent off for that Referee was the worse seen since possibly "Clive the book Thomas"

Am fuming, we drew that purely because of the officials. I know should of converted more shots to on target. I get that but if that perfectly good goal was allowed means Wycombe would have to come out more

Thought for a team top of the league might actually of came out more but again like Blackpool were content to sit, time waste and just throw balls up. The ref allowed them from goalkeeper all way through to just time waste and get away with murder. he should honestly look at the video and see what a utter bad job he did along with his assistance's.. Shame on them
Absolutely SPOT ON, amazing what a reasonable minded fan can see isn’t it .

Norwood will be suspended now, so still stop start for him.

Silly booking imo, especially when you know you are on 4. I get that’s part of him make up and the way he plays but still.... inside Lambert will disappointed.

At least it.l only be for Sunday’s game won’t it. So less impact really.
Overall I really hope Town first team can now get up a head of steam and start playing weekly, not once a month!

I agree was stupid booking, not only time hes talked himself into the book either, but if you take this side of the game away from Norwood then you lose huge chunk of his play.

Having seen extended highlights even the commentator seemed baffled on the goal. No offside, Jackson never touched the ball either. Total shambolic by the officials who were p*ss poor from kick off to the final whistle.

We know its a hard job for the officials but they chose to do it, they say show respect to the officials and i'm all for it but then so should they show respect to the players and the fans for are we not paying their wages? Love to hear the Ref come out and say sorry i got it wrong

The suspension was gonna come at some time, so I am happy for it to be now rather than later. As you say, take that from his game and he would be lesser of a player. He did frustrate me by jumping into the defender every time he went for the ball though... he would have been better off just challenging fairly and he wouldn't have given so many free kicks away.

He might be in more trouble with the FA after posting on his twitter account "the referee was the worst he has seen in 10 years of football and if he referees again it will be a farce"

We're not Barcelona, but even League One teams have to score goals to get promoted. Even though the Ref screwed us, it shouldn't have came down to one goal especially at home. I think we struggle to score even with Norwood in the team. I'll tell you what, I'm having revelations of the playoff year with McCarthy when the team wasn't strengthened in the Jan transfer window. Just a thought, but maybe ME and PL should put their heads together and look for another striker?

Not sure it's down to the strikers to be honest. Many of our shots yesterday came from midfielders from 25 yards out or more. We couldn't break them down as we lack the telling pass. Too many high balls. And when we get crosses in we haven't the height. And when the strikers cone out wide, no midfielders get in the box. Some things never change.
Still enjoyed it though.

Site is slow to respond, takes triple time for what should be simple functions. That out the way viewed game highlights last night but it's not the same as being in live attendance. The goalkeeper save near the end that kept them out seemed phenomenal, appeared we had opportunity to have scored at least one goal but just didn't go our way. The ref was a f*ck-up right ? Hard to gain the full picture from a few moments coverage but for those that were there and spoke out castigating it's performance then see no reason to doubt. Every week a match official seems to garner ridicule, either they really are amateurs or there's a conspiracy to see this team fail. Maybe people see error too often, can't provide the correct reasoning.

Lot of mention on TWTD we were ineffective and collectively poor, some talk of we showed determination and character. Visitors would be far the impressed team with the eventual score even blowing their late penalty opportunity. Team was capable on paper, Lambert picked a strong team and went for a more attacking option, as should be expected for the visit for an opposition in #1 position and having home advantage. Just appears a culmination of inadequate officiating, inability to take chances and perhaps big game nerves played it's hand in the eventual score. Would have been mighty interesting regards post-game comment had Holy not stopped their late chance but it's a thing of the past. We got a point with games to carry and still in a very good position to challenge. Could have been a whole lot better though.

Can clubs make official complaints about a ref's performance do you know ?

I’d say yes . But I think the refs are usually “ rated” by an independent adjudication on their performance. However Lambert was supposedly on the phone to whoever runs the refs organisation.

I’d suggest Norwood was pretty much on the money with his assessment- pity he’s not the adjudicator!
I think the ref will be slipping down to his Sunday morning league level.

Ref organisation guy: Yeah, whatever mate.

Oh and had the foul by chambers been correctly given outside the box, he would probably have been sent off.
Donacein could quite easily of been sent off as well for his lunge after losing the ball which led to the penalty.
Derick
Spot on and tbh I was amazed when he wasn’t given a 2nd yellow. Could have been a situation where we had 2 players sent off at the same time, as Ando has stated if the foul by Chambers had been given outside of the box he would have probably been sent off.
The one thing that did concern me as well was despite our rotation policy in the last 10 minutes Wycombe looked the fitter side and were looking the more likely to score.

I’d say we lacked match sharpness- you can only get this by playing competitive games , which is why I moan about postponing games tbh.

Also, PL said he wants his strongest team for games , hence why he postponed the games. But Tuesday night not one single player that had been away on International duty started the game. So imo it’s a load of bollox!
