Yes, he tries, he chases, he gives 100% - but ultimately I don't think he's good enough.

I don’t think we’ve got many sellable players of any real value- only the young lads, Downes and Woolfenden. Ideally, we should keep them to develop and then let them go for big bucks.

Dozzell maybe has value. I’d prefer him to leave than Downes or Woolfenden. But his market value has dropped. So has Edwards, Judge, Nsiala. Who’d pay money for Huws, Keane and Bishop with their injury history.
I would think it’s more likely we’d offload to reduce the wage bill rather than be able to bring in any real money. But we have too many players under contract and they would have to agree to leave for smaller clubs and smaller contracts.

I think Huws still has another 2yrs on his contract . Edwards , I’m not sure . But agree we have to offload many of these players ahead of our Crown Jewels. I was frankly surprised PL didn’t do this in the summer .

Well PL seems to have gone with the theory that our big squad can interchange and still get results. Edwards, Judge and a few more were probably considered good bets in this division - but they’ve disappointed. Add in a few sicknotes and our squad is big, but lacking in quality or anyone who can nail down some form. I think we’re going to struggle to offload deadwood.
Lambert has to make the most of what he’s got. His mantra has always been he can rely on all squad members to come in and do a job, so why should Evans give him more cash to add to an already bloated squad.

I agree, it's a problem. Many are here because no one wanted them in the summer. So it's a case of which is cheaper - running down the contract or buying them off.
