Accrington are second in the form table. Not the best time to be playing them. But hopefully we can beat them.MasseyFerguson wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 5:56 pmStill a blip?
As Ando says, at least we can now concentrate on the league. Luckily, if we could handpick the opposition for our next couple of matches we couldn't do better. A real chance to get back on track quickly.

There is a hidden message here, Shed. One of Keane's first signings at £1.5M only to be put on the market after one season. A lot of dough. The first sting in Mevans' wallet. And paving the way to create Marcus Evans realisation that clueless tw@ts "could" waste his money.
King C * N T.
Anyway......, back to today. Safe travels back from Devon, Mike. That was a proper sore one.

Agree 10 years, today shows what a big job this is to turn the club aroundMach_Polish_Blue wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 5:54 pmOf course there will be plenty of 'positives' out from it
Why giving Lambert only 5 years? He ought to have been given 10 at least as we keep progressing, improving and we need a stability.

we cant even beat Exeter reserves, this doesn't hold out much hope for our remaining league programme, I'll bet Accrington will come here and beat us next week, we are definitely in decline now, its not a blip, all you who think that we can now concentrate on the league, be prepared for more disappointments, we are in freefall form, and just like when we were in the championship relegation battle it only gets worse, if we don't get some better players in up front, like 36 year old Glen Murray who's available from Brighton, and strengthen the right wing back we will be F****D, we need to vastly reduce the squad to a manageable number of 18 quality players for stability and bonding.

Only one swear word and that was abbreviated sorry to disappoint you Marco, But I will wait with baited breath for the Accrington game and the PL team selection, and his activity in the transfer market but if that FKN tw*t doesn't get his act together, he had better be looking over his shoulder, as I will be waiting to let rip.

Families don't even bond anymore.
The answer Ash......., Lambert needs to have a PHONE BAN. No phones at Portman Road. Thats the only way he'll ever get the players to "bond".

If we don't then any hopes I have for us being in the frame for promotion at season's end will be extinguished.Andym wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 6:04 pmAccrington are second in the form table. The thought of another year in the third division is really depressing.

Just listened to the Stuart Taylor interview with complete incredularity.
Talk about 'my shít dont stink'.

Stuart Taylor when interviewed by Radio Suffolk “ no concern over winless run”.
May I suggest that there should be.

f**king unreal, total dross 1st half and created nothing, deservedly behind at the break. Bossed the 2nd half and should have been out of sight and yet we still cant f**king get it done. I said to the guy behind me when Lee Martin came on, "he'll get the winner if we give him stick" and sure enough !!! Pissed off doesn't come close.

Positives: As individuals we are happy and healthy outside of football. As a fan, we are part of a decaying and diseased organism that’s sinking in a ship.... plus the person we are looking to save us is getting it all wrong.derick_ipsw wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 7:53 pmWhat are the positives BM? Teddy Bishop looked very impressive and Holy was back in goal, made one worldy, El Mizouni came on and looked good too, aside from that.....

Keane looking like more of a natural finisher than the other two....
Jackson Pace, Norwood Battling (although that seems TK be hiding) and Keane’s finishing. Imagine.

Caption comp 1: Now what can I blame the bad results on.
Caption comp 2: Lee Martin I feel more like Dean Martin singing " I Dont Know What I'm Doing "
When the party is over and the laughter is through
And the last song stops playing I'll be thinking of you
For there's such a sweet mem'ry when you're crossing my mind
I don't know what I'm doing more than half of the time
I don't know what I'm doing with this drink in my hand
Guess I just gone to pieces like a ship on the sand
Your sweet name I keep calling while you jumble my mind
I don't know what I'm doing more than half of the time
(I don't know what I'm doing more than half of the time)
I may never find sunshine if I'd never find you
So I'll search all the places where the lights burning blue
Oh you just might be lonesome when I'm fooling my mind
I don't know what I'm doing more than half of the time
I don't know what I'm doing more than half of the time

Re: Exeter City vs Ipswich Town EFLT Preview & Matchday Thread
Only got score some half-hour back, gave the game a miss in so many words. Initial reaction one of disappointment but should I be really surprised.
Losing to Exeter City just isn't on. Sort of like France / Senegal, Algeria / West Germany (for those of an older age) that kind of thing. So what if it were some pointless cup crap most don't want nothing to do with it's still an embarrassment.
Starting line-up looked strong enough but reading some above comments appears the players didn't try or performance were half-assed for periods of the game. Surprised we got this far to be honest, guess the obligatory reaction is one of "we can concentrate on the league" but f*ck knows where that's going to end up.
