Funniest thing I ever heard was a matter of fact statement from my granddaughter when she was about 5. Guy on Alba alternating between English and gaelic. Was a championship game and it was HT, ....., granddaughter having her drink and toast before bed.
Guy was summarising the first half in English then skipped automatically to Gaelic .....
Grandaughter: “What’s wrong with the man, Papa?”
Definiteiy a “had to be there” moment but it was funny.

I shouldn’t knock Alba. Myself and the Mrs have some excellent laughs with some of things they say. The other night, a bagpipe concert was on, and when the camera went back to guy introducing the show, he ended his sentence with what sounded like “dumbfuck”!
Hoshimmy ya glashan, dumbfuck!
The wife was crying with laughter.
Hopefully no offended Gaelic people reading.
