Who's in charge of the ITFC kitchen? Get this guy on a diet. Or at least put scissors through his Greggs rewards card.

Perhaps that’s why he’s been dropped ?

Since 1 jan 18 we have only won 9 home games and only 6 on a Saturday. Some food for thought there.

Let’s make that double figures today against some who say is our bogey team.

Nice words, Dazzz, and also similar advice to Norwood if he’s dropped again today.

With a tough run o& fixture coming up in February this is a game we really need to put to bed. I know Lincoln have been on a decent run of form however most of their success has been at Sincil Bank where they are undefeated in their last seven games winning six of them. On the road it’s been a different story with only one win in the last 8 games and five defeats, four of them by 1-0 which is my prediction for Towns winning margin today.

Same line up as last week at Tranmere, even the bench stays exactly the same. Either Lambert listens to his fans advice, or, at last knows his best/favourite starting line up. Let’s hope the players respond to his faith in them and reward him and the fans with three points.

Ipswich

12 Norris
4 Chambers
28 Woolfenden
5 Wilson
7 Edwards
21 Downes
44 Huws
29 Garbutt
18 Judge
9 Jackson
48 Keane

Substitutes

1 Holy
3 Earl
8 Skuse
10 Norwood
11 Nolan
15 Bishop
20 Sears

Come on Town, with Rotherham trailing 2-0 at Peterborough there’s a chance to go top of the table with a win today.

COYB let's make sure of these 3pts.

Every game feels important at this point, but this will be a real boon to put that dodgy patch well and truly behind!

I’ve just seen we have two of our kind who’ve predicted a Lincoln win. Given they’ve only won two away games all season what would make a Tractor Boy think Lincoln’s third win will be at Portman Road ?

... and even if by some form of miracle it is, why would we be thinking that way ?

Job done, deserved win, played some good stuff at times, great build up play and kept possession well, not dozens of chances but Keane could have had a couple on another day. Lincoln really deserved nothing, bizarre tactics to keep playing out from the back which time and time again played into our hands.

I enjoyed the game. It wasn’t perfect, but Lincoln were no mugs and we played well and deserved the win. There wasn’t that many chances, but we really tried to play good football and we’re looking a pretty slick team at times. I thought Keane was great up front - really good control and some good flick-ons. He’s looking more physically capable as well. And Huws is looking so much stronger and able to dictate games more. With Judge and Edwards putting in shifts as well to add to the ‘regulars’, we’re starting to look bloody good as a real team. I have to say we look a more complete side than the first 10-12 games when we were winning, but seemed to rely on weak teams. And we’re now top as well.... so hopefully we keep it going.

Didnt get to the game today, didnt even get to listen to the wireless but just got the last 2 mins and the match report. Sounds like we held our own against a good lincoln side. Comments mainly supporting an improvement now we have a settled team selection. Good result and another 3 points in the bank. Looking forward to my away game to sunderland now with hope of a decent performance.

Another impressive display, controlled the game for 80 mins. There was a scrappy spell 10 mins in the second half where we stamped passing and Lincoln started to look a little dangerous, but apart from that it was a complete performance for me. Some will point to the result and say we should have scored more what I say to them is the team keeps performing like that and we will win more than we lose.

Not one weak link today every player contributed and did their job. Jackson never stopped running, Garbutt had good delivery today. Huws and Downes ran the show in midfield. And what a bench at this stage of the season, other teams are starting to creak with injuries.

Will PL have the last laugh on the rotation debate? Only time will tell.

A great present for my lad who’s 16 today.

Top of the league! You can’t ask for more can you?

Massive games against Rothers and Peters coming up. Get 4 points and we’re looking a really good bet for automatic promotion.

Nice one PL and the team. Looking forward to reports.

Pretty much agree with everything said so far. We looked very assured first half, and controlled it second half despite a slow 10 mins where we slowed down a bit. Woolfie is my stand out player at the moment. What a total player he really is, we won’t keep him past this season, but I am pleased to have watched him mature this year. Amazed Keane missed the shot in the first half. It must have been inches wide. Deserved more, but will take 1 - 0 and top of the league.
