Should have responded at time of event but with this opportunity a feeling of disappointment. Knew ahead of time a promotion at first attempt was highly unlikely and that belief should come to pass. Caught game highlights once again at the weekend but it never tells the full picture.

One win in six is it, maybe seven, I kind of lost count over recent weeks. Clearly we got an issue here. Team on paper seems capable but they never seem able to utilize their potential or go missing as a collective unit. This club is not promotion material. Seems futile blaming the manager, Evans et cetera, little seems to get done. Only salvation being remaining in a position to challenge with not far to the top in way of points.

A mass of home fixtures from the remaining twelve should work in our favor but on the evidence of Saturday and instances before doubtful we'll make the required impact to be involved in the automatic promotion mix. Play-offs seem a much more viable target but even then our record in these things are far from impressive.
