So with the global events industry invariably being hit by the corona virus, how much will Evans be worth this time next year? I can see his empire being substantially reduced and consequently ITFC being even more underfunded.

We will be fine, we will just have a cake stall to raise money and perhaps you could lead us in a bit of a sing-along Nick?

It'll be fine, we have plenty of assets, we could sell back the paint on the turnstiles.

 I'll take a wager with you Nic, that to cover his so called out lay, wages etc, Evans will have a wholesale clear out of all our best talent, and we will be lumbered with all the crap and over the hill players, that's his 5 year plan to completely f**k up Ipswich Town FC as a going concern, his attitude is, I'm all right Jack you lot can go F**K yourselves

If that is his attitude (which I very much doubt), what can he possibly hope to gain?

I don't think that he can benefit more from the Coronavirus than anyone else. Your hatred is reminiscent of Mach Polish Blue.

If nothing else, it will be another excuse to not invest in the team.

He benefits Barmy(IMO) by having a part of his group losing money hand over fist, he doesn't have to invest much, but the tax write offs for the entire company far out weigh the losses he makes with us. and IMO that's all he wants us for

There is a fair bit of 'tongue & cheek' with Ashford Billy so don't let it bother you.

I can live with a bit of aggression with situations, it's when it's towards people I draw the line mate.

How much is Evans worth now. There was a figure banded about a year or two ago but that may have changed / not have been accurate or exaggerated to begin with.

Realize he has other business enterprises to contend with and oversee but the club invariably comes are a distant second best to focus on what should - or needs - to be done. It's largely hypothetical regards future events but best guess we wait for the virus issue to filter out - it has to eventually - and evaluate the situation better when time arises.

No BB its worse   Now re Marcus Evans empire, and Ipswich Town FC, IF this Corvid-19 hasn't peaked yet and is set to continue until June that's about 10 to 12 weeks of wages he's contracted to pay out for Players and staff, with no income coming in, plus his ticket touting empire gets hit due to tickets cant be sold for none allowed large crowd gigs and shows and sports events, that too will hit his pocket, so if he turns round and starts laying off staff due to the virus, they the staff etc can take him to an unfair dismissal tribunal, where he will have to re employ the staff as contracted, plus pay any compensation for the inconvenience, it will be very interesting to see how this all pans out, if the virus prolongs past June, he could say F**K it that's it I've had enough, and pulls the plug and ether sells up or closes the club down, if he does the later he will be heavily fined by the football governing body and the FA, as the club are still operating within the FFP rules, and cant be put officially into receivership but maybe administration, if the administrators were called in they would look for a new owner to keep the club running as a going concern. and in turn Marcus would have to lose the Β£95 million he's built up since his purchase of the club. He could sell the training ground he owns to the new owner or the local council who own the Portman Road Stadium, but he wont get that much for it. Will be very interesting times to see how our owner reacts to all this.
