Was just typing and going to add that neither side had looked great in the 10 minutes i had seen. Sunderland looked comfortable and rhen up popped Lankester lol.

Well the 17 Minutes i have seen we have been the better side.

Last 15 mins we actually looked the more likely side, started so poorly though but their goal looked yards offside. We can win this if we carry on the way we ended the half.

last 10 minutes was more like it - but that in no way explains the first 35

Ponderous first half hour. Slip from McGuiness but Ward should be goal side imo.

Passing backwards doesn't worry me, better than conceding possession. But it is far too frequent. I still wondering it's a lack of vision, lack of control, lack of confidence or insufficient movement off the ball. That sounds negative but if it's lack of movement it's easily solved.

Once we scored we seemed to play with more confidence. Could go either way.....

Time to bring on Hawkins and Bennetts, and take off the ineffective Jackson and the equally ineffective and totally rubbish Judge

Ref gave a red, never was. Yellow at best, probably didnt even deserve that
