Line up for Shrews game ?
Sorry, I'm a bit bored at work atm , so wonder what people would go for as our line up for Sat?
With injuries and availability Id probably go with the following
Holy
Chambo
Woolfie
McGuinness
Ward
Bishop
McGavin
Judge ( normally I'd have Dozzell)
Edwards
Jackson
Lankester
Subs: GK, Norwood, Hawkins, Huws, Toto,

Think I'd prefer Hawkins to Jackson as a lone striker. Could possibly play Jackson wide to inject pace.
Similarly not sure about Bishop and Judge together, they both need to be just behind the striker to be most effective. Don't really rate Huws so not sure who I'd play instead. For our supposed wealth of midfielders we are a bit short on quality.

I think as Tang has alluded too, we are short of midfield presence / beef really, and whilst we pick the likes of Judge, Huws, Nolan, none are that special really are they. All we have then is kids....don’t think we have anyone at the Club in that position that is currently fit , experienced enough or willing to play.

Lucky we didn't play them all against Crawley as we're so short already

Lots of people are saying McGavin will play. I think Nolan will play ahead of McGavin. The front three for me should be Edwards Norwood Jackson

I'd be happy with that front 3 if Norwood is fit enough to start.
Regarding Nolan and McGavin, you are probably right. I was thinking about my preferred line up rather than what I expect. With Dozzell out we need someone who can play the deep role.

Re: Line up for Shrews game ?
I’d go with the back four of the young CB’s and old full backs.
Midfield for me - McGavin, Nolan and Bishop. I thought McGavin was excellent in the second half against Pompey. He leapfrogs Huws, for me, in the pecking order. Nolan has gone back to passing sideways, but has a goal in him. We’ve still got plenty of midfielders to choose for the three - Nolan, Bishop, McGavin, Judge, Huws, Lankester - even Dobra.
I think Lambert will squeeze Judge in the team so maybe he’ll be in midfield. I’ve given up on Huws. Just can’t see him getting back to anywhere to where he was 3 years ago..
I’m quite taken with giving Jackson the wide right role. We need his pace. Can he do the tracking back? Worth a try. Hawkins to start with Norwood getting some minutes off the bench.

If they’re unnamed, then they’re likely to be players who are deemed crucial to the way we play and Lambo is not giving anything anyway to the opposition. Very canny, Lambo. Maybe Bishop, Edwards? Lambo might be very savvy, but does he realise we’ve got a prediction league going on.
