Re: Ipswich Town vs Hull City AFC Preview & Matchday Thread
Last 10 mins we have started to get it together that’s true. But we are lightweight in the middle and Norwood looks isolated to me. I like Bennett’s on the ball . Direct runs at Hull snd they don’t like it . Don’t give a flying one about possession as it’s nearly all by us in our defending half.
.... and yet another injury ffs!!!!!

Lol I don’t think so . You’d like to think he’s only in the team due to our horrendous injury list . But I doubt it .
We don’t look to have enough about us to get the goal atm
Woolfie keeps giving the ball away tonight I think . Snd Josh Emmanuel looks very assured now compared to his time here with us .

Judge does appear to be the weak link. Every move he has been involved in seems to break down with a poor pass

The one really creative player we have is actually Chambers. Some good accurate first time passes. Makes himself available and knows where his team mates are before he receives the ball.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Hull City AFC Preview & Matchday Thread
That’s it then . 0-2
I think Hull have been happy to sit back and let us pass it about . There’s been no serious attempt on their goal by us all half ... now they’ve just hit the killer 2nd. That’s how to do it Town!
I’m sick to death of watching a significantly weakened Town team play league games season after f**king season due to stupid bloody injuries mostly picked up in training.
..... and no, injury rates at Town are not the same as at all clubs ..... IMHO . We have something like TEN senior pros out injured - some for more than a bloody year.

I just dont get our fans at times. Town have played well tonight against a good side. Ok, we are 2-0 down but i must be watching a different game. The second goal was lucky, intended reciever missed the cross and it went through to their player 6 yards out who couldnt miss. Apart from judge i cant fault any town player thst half.

Re: Ipswich Town vs Hull City AFC Preview & Matchday Thread
First 20 minutes we were poor. Better since. We have played some decent stuff but haven't looked like scoring really. Their first goal was well worked, second less so. But in both cases there was no marking. I think we all respond mire to results than performances. We are (after the first 20) playing better than I'd feared. The down side (apart from the score) is I still can't see where a goal will come from.ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 8:55 pmI just dont get our fans at times. There’s absolutely no incisiveness about our play . Yes it’s easy on the eye ( an improvement definitely), but I’m not watching us tonight thinking ,” we’re going to score in a minute”, are you? Hull have had two meaningful attacks snd scored from both of them .ipswichtownNo1 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 8:55 pmI just dont get our fans at times. Town have played well tonight against a good side. Agreed but Who should replace him ?
I agree with what zMills has just said . Why not try a change of system during the game ... 442 and have TWO strikers up front

Beautiful cross by Josh Emmanuel: that’s what we are missing . Hull should be 0-3 up no sweat!
