Town Strikers....which one (s) to go forward with ?
With Towns current injury crisis, and PL's cunning plan of playin one striker, who would you feel is the best striker for us to go forward with over the next 6 games?
Drinan has thrown his hat in the ring staking a claim. What do people think about his as the man to get the goals?

Current injured forwards include:
Edwards
Norwood
Sears
Returning from injury but not 90mns match fit ( I doubt ):
Oille Hawkins..........Mike ? >>>>> Lol
Jackson
Does this make Drinan our only fit striker ?

The one thing I absolutely hate to see us do, and have hated it for the last 2 or 3 seasons, is to see us play just one up front - and unfortunately we've seen that recently in the 4-4-3 and 4-2-3-1 formations favoured by Hurst and Lambert.
I don't care if we play 4-4-2, 4-2-4, 3-5-2, or 5-3-2, so long as we play 2 up front.
For me, Drinan gets one of those slots, the other going to Norwood when he's fit or Watkins in his absence

I'd go for Drinan with Jackson wide. Norwood in for Drinan if he's ever fit.
I admire your optimism that we might manage to keep the same striker on the pitch for 6 games. ...

Totally agree, even more so when struggling to score like we are at the moment.rossi wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 2:08 pmThe one thing I absolutely hate to see us do, and have hated it for the last 2 or 3 seasons, is to see us play just one up front - and unfortunately we've seen that recently in the 4-4-3 and 4-2-3-1 formations favoured by Hurst and Lambert.

Don't see enough of the team in action to provide substantial comment. Guess have Norwood and Jackson (when available) Sears doesn't do it for me and as for Drinan, maybe I missed it but don't recall much scoring from that one. Same goes with Hawkins, something of an unknown commodity. Can only go on what you follow each game and scorers as you recall them. Are any of those names really of the caliber to propel the team back to the second league, some will have their own reservations.
