Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
For me I would be keeping Nsiala and Nolan, If Judge played like he did Saturday every week I would be keeping him too but it's One game.
Mine to offload would be.....
Sears
Donacien
Wilson
Cotter
Folami
Skuse
Huws

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
How about getting rid of the manager for this replacement?

I quite agree about Nsiala & Nolan, Mile, but I would also keep Wilson. The sooner we can get shot of the rest, the better.

I personally think Wilson’s been our soundest CB. Unlucky to get dropped.barmy billy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:50 pmI quite agree about Nsiala & Nolan, Mile, but I would also keep Wilson. The sooner we can get shot of the rest, the better.

I think we need to be looking at bringing in some kind of defensive reinforcements in the form of a loans or whatever. Our defence is sh*t and needs to be addressed immediately. I’d rather see KVY in the midfield when he returns and Edwards & Bish will also help to create goals when they return.

Well....... if this is making headlines in So’F*ck, the final nail has almost been hammered in. Lambert can read, and this’ll be a boot in the preverbial stanes! (In his Scottish lingo)Tinytown wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:34 pmHow about getting rid of the manager for this replacement?

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
I think our defensive woes are partly the age profile of the players. I think we need a couple of young, athletic fullbacks who can get forward and backward. The current two did at the start but I think they have blown themselves out. They need to be matched with senior central defenders with experience and a bit of nous.number 9 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:26 pmI think we need to be looking at bringing in some kind of defensive reinforcements in the form of a loans or whatever. IN fairness if KVY was fit - and I still remain unconvinced of his ability after so few performances - he could possibly do the job. Chambers alongside Woolfenden could work centrally. Woolfy isn't good enough without am experienced hand to guide him through, the differences in his performances last season to this are evidence.

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
In my view these two
KVY
Nydam
Would fit that bill , IF fit. But that’s the constant problem at this club isn’t it. Injuries to our better players

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
I don’t think Nydam has ever played a league game as a LB. Perhaps a couple of friendlies at LB. From memory, he’s a CM and I don’t think he has that much pace. I’ll be surprised if he ever kicks a ball for us again. A real good prospect, but he’ll do well to recover as he’s had 2 - 2 1/2 years out of the game what with injuries/bad loan.hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 4:47 pmIn my view these two

As for KVY, who knows what we’ll get. 14 months out. He relied on his speed - does he still have it?

I said that at the beginning of the season when Chambers and Ward were surging forward as 'wingbacks' leaving Woolfenden isolated.

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
What’s happened to the recently reported incoming new player(s)? Barnsley player was heavily linked . All gone quiet on that front now. Is this because of possible managerial changes ?

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
Dunno. But I believe that player played for Barnsley over the weekend. In the Cup. So maybe he’s staying at Barnsley... or there’s things going on behind the scenes here... or maybe just way of the mark transfer gossip.hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:45 pmWhat’s happened to the recently reported incoming new player(s)? Not a good time to have managerial upheaval during a transfer window.

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
Nope it isn’t , but I get the feeling PL’s tenure is definitely under threat. I just wish he’d change the way he sets up in a game and TRY something else. But I guess he won’t will he!

Looks ok and scores goals but expect if he comes PL will play him out of his best position as usual.

Re: Jan 2021 Transfer Window
I’ve just seen that Charlie Brown has now signed for MK Dons in a permanent deal from Chelsea. What did Chelsea pay us for him - 750 k? 1 million? Obviously didn’t turn out as expected. I think his brother is in our 23’s.

You’d think he would’ve “snoopyed” around for a bigger club.tangfastic wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 11:13 amI’ve just seen that Charlie Brown has now signed for MK Dons in a permanent deal from Chelsea.
