Re: Celtic fans react
I did think he might have tried to force his way out of the Town job to throw his hat in the ring at Celtic.
Either way I voted yes to do I want him at Celtic

Re: Celtic fans react
Would imagine a large swathe of the 36% YES votes are Rangers fans.

Re: Celtic fans react
I use Talk Celtic to keep up with events and there isn't a standalone Lambert thread, just the name incorporated into a main potential next team coach heading. 5/ 1 is Lambert for the job there through some leading bet companies but he's behind the pecking order to names such as Ed Howe, Lampard and Enzo Maresca. I don't see what they'd have to gain by taking him on. Former player maybe but i'd be jumping in the Clyde if revealed they had brought him in to replace Lennon.
Martin O Neil and Keane also in the running, the former impressed there for a time as manager while Keane as a player only featured for a short time. His time with us was sh*t there is no doubt although can see him fitting in there to some extent. Just think better suited to the simple layout and expectations of the SPL rather than more trying objectives within the second league of English football. Bottom line maybe Lambert won't be employed again, have seen enough of it now. Proven one trick pony of a manager, all his other endeavors have been by and large horseshit. Any competent team directors or owners should just have the foresight to avoid.
