Re: Gillingham FC vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Missed most of it but I got a 2 - 1 score with some fifteen minutes remaining. Just see the end of it out although seems the opposition are value for the lead. We've played poor throughout ? Been ineffective once again, some things never change. Thought we would win today the last few games have picked up, seems we had turned a corner. Hope to get back into this, maybe even win it although may be trying for too much there.

We haven't coped with anything all afternoon, Norwood has given up possession about 20 times with his petulant f**king pushes on defenders.
1-3 game over and we look woeful

If cook comes out and says he can't fault the town players god help him. He needs to sort these overpaid lot out. Utter garbage from the " best squad in the league". What the fcuk was that third goal , twice now Bishop has tried to set the other team up. Banish them all to u23s

f*ck off they've got a third ? Guess that's it. Don't know enough of the game as yet but picking up bits and pieces we've been largely ineffective, too many of our team haven't earned salary, been sh*t once again end of. Time for analysis when game is over but hard not to get involved when action is underway. Should and could have had three points today but seems the players weren't motivated or wanted it enough.

Tiredness is causing Norwoods fouls this half. He's been very good for 65 minutes. Cannot deny that. He's been in positions but the midfield are f**king headless chickens and the defence are nursery school BEFORE primary One, Toto aside.
Big job Cook has on his hands.

I'm sure they forget we are not in blue today
Both Bishop and Dozzell been pitiful. Norwood looks totally frustrated, he needs a player up with him. Can't believe our defending. Hopeless

Very hard to maintain a sense of perspective, but those Town players have let this club down today. You can argue about new coaching methods, formations Etc, but for the money they get paid, a Tractor Boys Forum XI could have played better.

Yes Mike but what has he had far as quality ball? one i can remember when through, that's it. For me start Jackson and Norwood for now its basically 2pts per game for rest of season on average

Not just about that, he's giving up possession every time we get forward with foul after bloody foul, he got lots of service the other night and f*cked 4 real good scoring chances, I'm just not impressed tbh.Steve and Jo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:50 pmYes Mike but what has he had far as quality ball? one i can remember when through, that's it. I have to agree. Every foul concedes possession and territory.Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:54 pmNot just about that, he's giving up possession every time we get forward with foul after bloody foul, he got lots of service the other night and f*cked 4 real good scoring chances, I'm just not impressed tbh.Steve and Jo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:50 pmYes Mike but what has he had far as quality ball? one i can remember when through, that's it. Yes Mike I agree but that's total frustration. Ipswich in the whole to the player been dreadful, it's not that they lacked desire today apart from Holy. I think he was daydreaming, Rest of them I feel tried but just no class.Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:54 pmNot just about that, he's giving up possession every time we get forward with foul after bloody foul, he got lots of service the other night and f*cked 4 real good scoring chances, I'm just not impressed tbh.Steve and Jo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:50 pmYes Mike but what has he had far as quality ball? one i can remember when through, that's it.
