The article states a pending vote on changes to the Champions League may create collateral damage for English football. One of the fall outs if the changes pass is the probable elimination of the League Cup. Further, instead of traditional qualification based on league positioning a coefficient may be used to determine which teams qualify.

The coefficient rule is sure to spark friendly, amicable debate amongst fans of the clubs involved.
Imagine Everton finishing 4th but Liverpool in 6th qualify instead. That’d be f**king hilarious.
