The rest of the team should take a look at dobra. Wanting the ball, making himself available, tracking back, getting forward. Very good since he came on.

Chambers has done well so far today and Dobra should start next game.

If I wasn't essentially a positive person I would be quite depressed after that.
Not quite the performance or the result we'd hoped for but it's still a point in the bank. I continue to believe we'll be top six at season's end.

Waste of f**king time nothing more. Can only blame myself really wanted the team to do well and improve on other performances we've seen but been let down once again. Course you can't say a bad word about the new manager, hell you can't permit that but these few games in what real difference is there since we saw the last of Lamberts sorry as*. Guess he's having to make do with what was given him but this is essentially a very poor team.
One or two players may have stood out above the rest but collectively League One is now our standard and even then we often struggle to make any impact. It's easy to be critical but the situation justifies it. May take in some highlights later or gain greater opinion but having a hard time trying to focus the use.

Certainly hope you're not basing this on what you've just witnessed. Because that's just blind faith, blind hope, blind whatever. The team are absolute pish. No f**king danger they're getting to the play-offs. I'll put my mortgage on it.
Correct Shed. Lights out. Give Ipswich
YET
ANOTHER
f**king
SUMMER
and hopefully Cookie is the one being spoken about with the 7-0 wins next season.
Will be relying on match reports from now on......., no more viewing.

No, if I was basing my feelings on what happened this afternoon I'd be in a state of deep depression!marko69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 6:36 pmCertainly hope you're not basing this on what you've just witnessed. There’s a bunch of players there who’ve been around for 2-3 years ..... and they look like strangers.
I have to say with Hawkins on the bench...... why not put him on? Jackson adds nothing in that type of game.
Use Dobra more.... what’s the point of Harrop and several others.
And Toto held the defence together. MOTM.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when PC discusses with Roberts what he really feels about this shower of shyte!,
I bet he can’t wait for the season to end, so he can build his own squad. Actually really looking forward to close season and seeing who he brings in. I think he’s going to be quite ruthless in the clear out. The players only have themselves to blame. They sh9w absolutely no intent to want to win another contract or stay.
Seeing how they’ve played today, I ask again, have the6 been told they w9nt be here next season, because that was one of the worst , gutless performance I’ve seen from this shower of shyte this seas9n.
I’d play the U 23 for the rest of the season. Can hardly be any worse .
NB ..I meant say PC said right at the end of his interview that he was watching U23 during the coming week. Already planning for next season...and maybe even going to use one or two this season.

Re: Wigan Athletic vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
I'm beginning to wonder if a lot of the players don't want to be here anymore, and that's why they're not improving. It's obviously an unstable situation being mid-table in League One...for their respective careers. They're also not oblivious to the financial constraints of the club. How many players have we let go over the years who we thought were crap, and then they resurrected their careers at other clubs?
How many players do you think we have now who are still proud to wear the Ipswich shirt? If there is any player ashamed to wear the shirt, he should f*ck off or be told to f*ck off...period. And I think that's exactly what Cook is in the process of doing until the end of the season.
Play offs?...Don't make me p*ss myself laughing!

Re: Wigan Athletic vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
After that fuckfest I would keep Toto who was excellent and Dobra, the rest of them get what they deserve, Bishop and Dozzell could be good with decent players around them but who knows.
As for the likes of Judge, Sears, Edwards, Jackson, Woolfenden, just what is the f**king point. As for Harrop what an absolutely poor excuse of a footballer, dead ball specialist my arse !!!
Stick with Cook, he WILL deliver but how can anyone seriously do anything with this shower of sh*te ? We have to be patient cus Cook knows how garbage this lot are, he can't even change the formation and tactics with this bloody lot cus it would confuse them beyond belief.

It makes you wonder just what really might be going on behind the scenes doesn’t it. Because Cook said on Friday, “ the fans will like what’s going on behind the scenes”. Now clearly , this is not being borne out on the pitch with these players.... so maybe what’s going on behind the scenes , doesn’t actually include these players! And they are demonstrating the only way they can....by not bothering. Because can anyone on here explain that performance today? It makes me feel like it’s a player mutiny against the club.

The worry is though is Cook going to get the opportunity to change much? With Evans still in charge I don’t hold much of a hope for any improvement

Re: Wigan Athletic vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
There were chances for both teams but they seemed to create more in way of scoring opportunity. Attack appeared half-assed, players didn't seem to have the belief or inclination to really find goal and while Cook did better on a return to a former employer than the Portsmouth game it were two points dropped today you can argue.
The burning issue is the team always seems to be around the top six positions but doesn't seem to want involved in a play-off opportunity. Really pisses you off when you can see the chance there to do something and it's just out of your hands when the team doesn't perform. I look at the remaining fixtures and can't help but be irritated with the chance provided but time and again hope comes to near nothing.
As the last poster put it and blatantly aware, just can't see much hope in the future while same ownership persists. How the f*ck are we supposed to attract new investment while we invariably struggle with a poor team at third league level. I'm not going to berate Cook it's still largely unfair so soon into his tenure here but you can sense some areas of the fanbase having doubts or getting antsy as each game passes. Pessimist or not Just can't see a way out of the predicament as things remain.

Ah Liz, what's going on behind the scenes is it a possible takeover from you know who link USA and all that what he's said and means is, there are huge changes about to be revelled before next season starts.hallamblue wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 7:32 pmIt makes you wonder just what really might be going on behind the scenes doesn’t it. Oh happy days eh, to me its not a coincidence that during all the talk about New owners wanting Paul Cook as the manager when they buy the club and M Evans saying its all fake news, only to sack Lambert and appoint Paul Cook, he certainly wasn't listening to Blue Mike with the appointment, so lets wait and see
