The players have no vested interest to do anything for this club since the take over announced . They KNOW they are out the door in June

Much as I dislike Edwards he was finally going what he’s supposed to do .... then no end product Bennett’s comes in in his place .

Is it the manager or the players? not watching this today. Glad I forgot early kick off.. I'm not sure though who Cook could put out for thinking all but a few are just totally useless

Oh i wish fans could be allowed in for the last home game of the season. Let this lot know exactly what the fans think of them and their performances. The wage grabbers (i will refrain from calling them players) wouldn't know what had hit them!hallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 7:21 pmAnyone else think these players are taking the p*ss out of the Club and the fans ? Because I bloody do . They couldn’t give a f*ck .... bin the bloody lot them
Fortunately my garden project gave me the only excuse i needed to miss this game!

I dunno Liz - it's essentially the same squad that many people a year or so ago were proclaiming to be the strongest in the division. Something doesnt add up for surehallamblue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 7:58 pmTbh the poor did must be tearing his hair out with this squad . Never in all my born days have I seen such a poor bunch

They seem to have been asked to play at a level of passing football for which they are truly incapable. Presumably managers responsibility. Too early to opine on this manager!!

Comfortable with what ? This squad ? They won’t be here , I’m pretty sure of that VR . The players know it which is why we are seeing this dross . This squad is Lsmbert and Hursts dross . Not Paul Cooks .
Tbh this squad has performed like this for 3 years now. They’ve had their chance - cheerio

I think the new owners knew this squad is crap, For me they know its next season onwards. Lets have a whole mighty clear out. Wouldn't even bother to wait until end of the season. Play the players who we know will be here unless sold.
Sod the ones out of contract or know letting go

Re: AFC Wimbledon vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
And that’s it really isn’t it . This squad has no quality at all . Hardly a surprise therefore that a decent manager like Cook can get anything out of them , he’s tried EVERYTHING. They’re fit for the bin .patthegimp wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 8:15 pmThey seem to have been asked to play at a level of passing football for which they are truly incapable. I appreciate this is lamberts squad of players, but bloody hell, I expected at least some sort of change in performances from cooks tenure. This is abysmal! Is cook the right man for the job??? Really?? I’m worried

I don’t think ANY manager would have got anything out if this squad once that takeover snd a complete rebuild was announced. The players KNOW they are on their way out if this club ...... and it shows .nicscreamer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 8:23 pmI appreciate this is lamberts squad of players, but bloody hell, I expected at least some sort of change in performances from cooks tenure.
