It sounds like its manic this morning since they are now on general sale, phone lines blocked, system overloaded, numerous people posting messages on social media asking for assistance etc etc, sounds like the sales are gonna be very very good, especially when they have about 9 weeks to renew, the rush on the first day is a good sign.

I thin there is just 3 seats left lol ....1 in section 5 and 2 in section 6 ..... yer stuck with me for another season then Mikey !!

I made it 27 seats available across the entire SBR Lower sections 4-6 earlier.
The thing is do they make all seats available for Season ticket purchase or do they hold some back for ad-hoc purchases (i guess why should they if they have a guaranteed income)? I guess any games i make it to will have to be in a different stand. That is not meant as a gripe, because a full SBR Lower with attractive football being played will be worth seeing from any stand.

I suspect all the lower SBRS will be sold out now. Ad hoc will probably be in the more expensive upper tier on match days . If you’re looking to get a ticket near the SBRS for atmosphere ( but not be in it ), I’d suggest the Cobbold Stand in the corner near “ section 6” of the SBRS ( next to the supporters shop). It’ll be bouncing in these stands AM , trust me

Maybe that part of the Cobbold will become the SBRL "overflow'?
Being in a nearby stand to hear and see the Sir Bobby Lower in full buoyant flow is a sight worth seeing (even if being amongst it all the ONLY true place to be).

When the new owners rebuild the Cobbold stand ( as has been said they will at some point ...after we’re promoted ?), I do wonder if they will fill in that corner between SBR and Cobbold. That would make a huge difference to the sound / atmosphere that could be created.....we can hope eh, then you can bounce with the Cobbolders ha ha

The one benefit of getting old is at least I get cheaper tickets now when following ITFC & England.
Even got myself a seniors railcard for when the other 2 don't come to games.
Would say I most probably turn into a Victor Meldrew but the other 2 reckon I did years ago!

Fans duly swamped the Portman Road ticket lines with calls, with thousands trying to get their hands on tickets for the 2021/22 season. The Blues had a staggering 8,000 calls just this morning.

I’m thinking we’ll now make 20k ...my original target was actually 16k!
Town fans have been starved of anything positive for nearly two decades now, and this Club is ready to explode with optimism and support ( which has always been there).

Areas 5&6 are sold out, assuming all seats of previous season's ST holders are renewing.
