What an unbelievable day of football in Euro 2020! What sort of odds would you have got on both Spain and France surrendering 2 goal leads in normal time?

its entertaining stuff for sure, cant see any team to stop us winning it YET,

Putting it like that, if any of those teams can concede 3 goals then there is always hope! Of course the fact they can also score at will is more of a concern.

How i see it we are not conceding even with Captain Conor Coady sitting on the bench, The only thing in our way will be VAR,The Ref,UEFA,Angela Merkel and her buddies from the EU. the hand of God, Nicola Sturgeon, Roy Keane, The European Song Contest panel. apart from those few obstacles i cant see any problems,

Pleased Spain got through, the tournament without France is poorer for it but at least it offers an easier route to the semi-finals. Switzerland well done and all that but they'll never replicate those heroics of this evening. Ten years ago would have got involved more, made a few weeks of it, drinks and all, but the time has passed.

Every shitslag and it's dog will crawl out from under it's rock if the English manage a win, elevated from basic mediocre level to overnight stars or for as long as it lasts. Two great games to finally light up a pretty drab tournament, I have to say although the entertainment value was fab the quality of the defending in a lot of games has been very poor.

How was DeBruyne's injury after the game with Portugal? Let's hope he's fit for the quarters.

I don't understand why everyone is so worried about the Germans. They are getting old and managed by a guy who makes some very odd decisions. i would be unhappy if we didn't consider ourselves as favourites for this game. Expect it to be usual Southgate approach also so not too exciting but secure at the back. I'm thinking 2-0 us with a goal each half.

Odds on Spain, Italy and Belgium are all drifting this morning. If it’s not England I’d love to see Spain win but can’t see it with their central defence looking so poor. Belgium, well maybe the bookies know something we don’t about DeBruyne’s fitness, and Italy I’ve not seen so can’t comment,

Personally I think the winner of tonight’s England v Germany game will win the tournament and I’m looking forward to this game more than any other so far.

Sadly I said before it all started that Germany would win the whole competition, I hope I'm wrong but England haven't shown me anything to change my opinion.
