We don’t look like we know what the hell we’re doing . Looks like “throwing the shackles off” is going to back fire.

Gosh this is so poor. I was expecting an interim manager bounce but this is shocking. For the first few minutes I thought we played well but since then we’ve just allowed Charlton to gradually take control of the game. Donacian who’s done well so far this season is having a mare, meanwhile one of two around him have done so little you can’t even measure what they’ve done. We certainly are a football club still in decline and at the moment I can’t see an end to it. Feeling sad ☹️

Very very poor, Donacien just cannot play left back, how he stood there then raised his arm having clearly played Charlton on for there goal.

I did think the shot from Evens did hit that outstretched arm from the Charlton player to be given as a corner. For me it was a penalty but we are so very poor

There's no confidence in the team whatsoever! Players are disorganized and slow...center midfield is like a sieve...Wing backs are confused, if you wanna call them that. I know it won't happen, but I'd stack the midfield and put two up front. Really not sure who could improve the performance...maybe Chaplin?..maybe Pigott? Donacien should be replaced but we've no one to replace him.

Get Donacien either off(already on yellow) or over to RB. KVY off-not really doing anything including defensively. Burgess into LB?

Change of manager and coaching staff . Change of ideas . NOT ideal . Get ready for more heartache this season because it’ll happen all over again when the permanent coach/ manager comes in . This is what you get …. More upheaval. It’s a transitional season , and always was ……

To be fair , mcgreal did say he wasn't going to change much. Boy does it show. If only town could sack players as easily as managers.

How are we still this poor after all the changes made, new owners, almost entirely new squad, managerial changes and yet still appear to be clueless, it really is very depressing

But it needed changing. If it wasn't working for Cook why would it work for McGreal?

Mcgreal can't do in one game what Cook failed to do in 20+

This squad is tailor-made for 3-5-2 even Stevie Wonder could see it.
When oh when will Bonne learn to stay onside ?

We need Pigott and Chaplin on ASAP

No plan B and Bonne makes it easy for them getting caught offside all the time. AWFUL!!

Perfectly true, but if the players couldn't play for Cook using that system then for me try something else. Other interim managers have.

Edwards is like a headless chicken. Really rated him at start of season but for whatever reason does good stuff but then has no end product. We could turn this around, believe we have good enough players to do that

I was expecting so much more against a team with such a poor home record. I’m certainly not looking forward to Sunderland and Wigan games coming up.

Well he made 5 changes to the side and played Donacian on the opposite side of defence tonight to show horn KVY in …. The defence is all at sea and being ripped apart in every Charlton attack

Problem is people were expecting Cook to get a new team up and running in a month …. They’ve now been schooled in a certain way of playing . This will need to be unlearned and new tactics learned …. It’ll take the rest of the season .

Edwards had been sussed and had always been a headless chicken , and I see we still have just one up front …. New manager will probably play the same way as it seems a common tactic in the game these days . So Cook not out on a limb there .
