FA Cup 3rd Round Draw Barnsley v Town or Barrow
Not much of an incentive to take to Barrow next Tuesday.

But it is winnable. Second from bottom championship, only due to derby who have point deductions, so really the bottom team.
Win this ( obviously barrow too) and we would have a better chance of a prem club in the last 32

You can't pass by a Barnsley game piece without mention of 2000. Years pass and times move on but what a day that was for all involved. Promotion is one thing but the manner it were achieved in those 90 minutes and the feel and exhilaration of the event will live forever.
Bottom line it's a feasible passage into Round Four. All right you got the issue of the Barrow replay to come but now Cook has departed can't help but feel the team will be in far better shape to contend the replay. Not to get ahead of oneself but truly believe we're as good as into the Third Round without need of a replay tie.
Barnsley game when it comes along, would have preferred it to be at Portman Road but all the same and once more it's a winnable draw even in Yorkshire.
A lot will depend on who the new team coach is by that time and how the players react to the appointment. If there's (enough) harmony and ambition when Barnsley time is upon us then by all means we can win it.

Yes I'm happy with this draw too. A low profile draw and maybe we can get the win under the radar and progress. Of course there is a test in Barrow to endure first....
