I think you have your wording mixed up, if I'm a bigot against drink drivers, then I'm very very happy to be a bigot. He has been caught multiple times a long way over the limit, and f he has been caught multiple times, then I bet he has done it many more times without being caught. This is not someone having a pint or two with their lunch and blowing slightly over, this is someone doing something unforgivable and if you think it's a 'mistake' and something condonable, then you're as bad as he.

In truth wasn't aware Norwood was a repeat offender regards driving while inebriated. Thought the incident discussed was an isolated one. Point being that alone should be largely enough to force him out the club or at least any one where he's employed.
Can't abide dangerous drivers whether they're effected by drink or any other sh*t they may consume. Unfortunately the number is greater than you would imagine. Think maybe Norwood does these things because of his say, "status" in that he earns a salary above the usual individual and believes he's something above the law. Sometimes it takes a critical mistake or incident to realize the enormity of your errors, hope it never comes to that but it's arguably the biggest wake-up call anyone can receive.

If you are seriously telling me that you personally have never ever driven on a morning following a heavy night then quite frankly you are a better man than any other I know. And being slightly over the limit is no worse than being 5 times over the limit, or drink driving once in a blue moon or daily - all should not happen. And if Norwood is a repeat offender then it's likely he has a problem and therefore needs help, not being trashed by puerile bigoted insults

I can't believe you're throwing out hypotheticals to try and defend him. Both times he was caught for drink driving it was in the early hours, driving home after socialising. So forget about your next day rubbish and remember he is a proffesional footballer who could afford a taxi to follow him around all night if he really needed.
As for your other hypothetical that I should be sympathetic because he appears he could be an alcoholic in your eyes, well it doesn't appear to me that way, I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest that in the slightest. Besides, I have all the sympathy in the world for those who are struggling with alcohol or any other problem for that matter, but as soon as they put others in potential harms way then that sympathy pops instantly, that's a very solid line you never cross regardless of what is going on between your ears.
Aaaand if you really want to know, then no, I never drink heavily if I know I need to drive the next morning, it's called planning, that's what responsible people do, it's really not that tricky to work out.

One thing that hasn't really been talked about of late, is the so called 'Brentford' style of player recruitment that was promised by the new regime. Does anyone feel like the current squad is based on an analytical formula, or is the squad simply based on 'Cook's Chosen Ones'?
From what I've seen of this squad so far, there seems to be only one or two players who offer any significant skills and/or experience. Obviously Morsy and Burns are good catches, but what about the rest?

Yeah I agree. One thing MM and company did do well was recruitment, but even then we got a lot of dross. Obviously not including Mings in that assessment and some of the loans were useful to say the least.
