Not been a bad half, deservedly ahead, nice move for goal. Evans improving as game progresses, Hladky one error but been really solid in his handling etc, Burns, Aluko and Morsy all started well but Evans grew into the game, CB's making good runs but Woolfenden terrible defensively. Norwood and Bonne not really linking up that well as a pairing, Penney not done too bad either to be fair.
Why is Woolfenden "defensively terrible "? Sorry that does not make sense

Wonderful NON celebration by Norwood yet again - miserable b*stard!
He’s working hard. Scored. How much punishment do you want to give him?
Do you think he looks remotely happy that he’s just scored do you ?? FfS it’s nothing to do with giving him punishment…. Does he want to be a Town player ? Absolutely f*ck all celebration when he put that in the net ZERO reaction . That good is it ? He’s done that for every single goal he’s scored . He’s Having a massive sulk by the looks of it

I’m expecting a different Wycombe 2nd half unfortunately. They’ll bring that bloody great big fat lump on . He’ll constantly back into the CB’s, cue the foul and likely penalty . I also think they’ll bombard out box with high balls . That’ll we’ll see that back four / GK tested . Hope I’m wrong 🤞🤞🤞, but that’s what I think will happen.

I was quite happy with that to be honest and I didn't think Woolfenden was so bad and did well at times. Our distribution from the back was better than average. Remember how many times we have criticised our team for just hoofing the ball back to the opposition? This is the answer.

Great goal but Wycombe always look like they could popp up with something. We need the second early in H2 IMO to kill this off.

Possibly . But good strikers are in the right place at the right time . He’s not celebrated a single goal since he’s been back in the team - why?

Norwood is putting a real shift in. Creating as much havoc as he can. Quit mouthing off to the ref though. Bonne and Nors will become a brilliant partnership in my opinion. COYB

I quite liked his point to his name on the back of his shirt for the first of his three. That was quite cool.

Because he's been poor and made 2 or 3 errors, one which we were very lucky not to be punished from, just doesn't cut it.

It looks to me as if Bonne is playing the lone striker role with either two or three behind him, probably just two with Norwood on the left and Aluko on the right.

There’s a lot of energy in the team but its far too frantic for my liking.

Yes it is but they are making us play the game their way and forcing more balls into our box . The big lump will be on soon then all they’ll do is hoof it into the box …
