. Only joking. But in the past, they were never mistimed tackles, but dives. TBF, Toto did manage to erase that mostly from his game.Bluemike wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:19 pmWhat the hell has that got to do with anything, ridiculous comparison, a mistimed or poor tackle against a clear punch, yep great reasoningtangfastic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:05 pmAnd to think you excused Toto every week as he scythed down players every week giving away penalties.

Re: Morsy charged with violent conduct
I’d say the very fact the Club decided to appeal says they didn’t think it was violent conduct . McKenna himself, said he was 2 yards from the incident , saw it fully and it was not a punch!

And I see their utter c of chairman or whatever he is now had the audacity to “ apologise” for taking to twitter about Morsy . He ISNT “ sorry”, it’s more a case of rubbing it in … “ I won the verdict” ( no doubt all his mates were on the FA panel). I hope we kick the sh*t out of them next season . THEYRE a disgrace to the game with their antics .

Sadly he's wrong, defending his man, it was a punch but I guess we all see things differently.

There is a reason a player of Morsy's talent is playing in League One and this type of stuff is it.

Re: Morsy charged with violent conduct
With his current disciplinary record I suspect it’s only a matter of time before he loses his Captaincy responsibilities which is a shame given his ability however a captain should also be a role model.
A four game suspension will no doubt be quite painful however I can’t see it changing his temperament which is somewhat volatile and part of his character.

He didn’t have to join us . It as PC who persuaded him. Morsy said he wouldn’t have dropped a division for any other manager .valleyroad wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:16 pmThere is a reason a player of Morsy's talent is playing in League One and this type of stuff is it.

Just saw this, no wonder they upheld the ban, pretty conclusive to me.

Re: Morsy charged with violent conduct
Hopefully away from the EFL, the Stanley player can take some legal advice and have him done for assault.
Not saying its been done just because he wanted to punch someone ——>> No doubt in my mind he’s been provoked in some way, Zidane style……., but you cannot be doing that type of thing on a football pitch in front of a crowd and cameras. Idiot.
Punch him in the car park. No?
Joking!!!

Re: Morsy charged with violent conduct
Well I’ve watched it several times now. It’s so quick I can’t see anyone can possibly say that’s a “punch” ….he’s not even looking at the AS player, he’s looking towards the benches isn’t he. Who punches someone and not even be looking at them?number 9 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 3:49 pmDoes anyone have a closer view?Bluemike wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 3:05 pmhttps://mobile.twitter.com/ASFCPlayers/ ... morsy%2F45

I still don’t think he punched him……
Edit. I’ve managed to enlarge the picture and freeze frame it several times, and I can see now that he draws his arm back, before taking it towards the player….as you would do when you “ throw” a punch… so yes , I now see it as a punch, and a ban is correct decision. Suspect he got 4 match ban for previous red card offence in same season. He really does need t9 temper his responses. He’s not a rookie is he!!

Perhaps he should now play wearing boxing gloves and elbow pads, that way he wont hurt them so much next time!
