Yep, agreed. Thought a draw tonight, but very good away win. Loving the new belief, regardless of performance. They're believing in themselves. Will say draw again for the weekend and hope it's wrong again.valleyroad wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 11:38 pmReally good win tonight. Picking up points away from home is key. Starting to get decent run of form now. Squad is strong enough to go to Sheff Wed and take something.
And nice win for the Buddies. On loan Wolvo mid? GnB will be cheesin'!
Ronan smashing little player but probably not quite good enough for Wolves first team.
Doing us a good turn though.

Got the score within last hour, found no need to rush things. Irony of Burns' accomplishments was not lost last night, seems we played rather ineffective first half although picked up second and value for the win. McKenna has four wins from five, it's a mighty fine achievement but don't want to get ahead of oneself. If by some chance he can take the team to a play -off finish it would be a marvellous accomplishment. Many would have doubted his abilities when coming in, hiring something of an unknown figure et cetera.
Only Sunderland have scored more than us in League One so while the attack kind of takes care of itself, sorry to learn the defense couldn't quite match it and we seemed sometimes or often exposed. The opposition may have had their problems before play in that they aren't very good but we made the trip there, set out and did what had to be done.
Results aren't always achieved in the best manner or from truly effective performance but we're putting together victories now, something rare or unable with ex-managerial names in recent time.
