This is a match we would have drawn or lost with Cook at the helm.

We made very hard work of that against a very young inexperienced team.
I certainly don’t rate our chances vs SWFC on Saturday. Our players are going down like flies mid with discipline issues or injury .

Lovely to see Kieran McKenna punching the air in front of the Town fans.

Up to 8th Saturday without Morsey and Kvy. Hopefully Evans back for Carroll.

Happy to win but need to play much better on Saturday pity MK Dons got an injury time winner.

I’m not sure we’ll miss KVY too much and we need to get used to playing without Morsy who’s indiscipline is always going to cause us a few problems.mendipblue wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 10:48 pmUp to 8th Saturday without Morsey and Kvy. Hopefully Evans back for Carroll.

Have to say without the cards, KVY was the weak link. Couldn’t defend and he never looked like wanted to take on their full back.
If we can offload a couple of senior players, bring in a decent LWB/LB. Not a 18 year old loanee from Man U who’s never played men’s football. We seem to be holding on for Coulsen to come back and he’s hardly played.

Re: League 1 - AFC Wimbledon vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
We will desperately miss Morsy for all the games he’s out .
For Saturday we’ll have …
no experienced Left back now
no physical presence or ball winner in midfield
I doubt Evans will be fit with that groin injury .
I’d be playing Bonne Sat and not tonight’s pairing .
It’s SO annoying that we’re going into a hard run of games without our strongest players . We don’t make it easy for ourselves so we ?

Really good win tonight. Picking up points away from home is key. Starting to get decent run of form now. Squad is strong enough to go to Sheff Wed and take something.

Re: League 1 - AFC Wimbledon vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
The bottom line for me is that we are starting to win regularly, even where we haven't set the world on fire. This was a game we would leave lost or drawn under Cook or Lambert or Hurst.
We are now in touching distance of the playoffs and I really think we can get good results in the next few, crucially important, games. There isn't much to choose between a lot of teams in this division but I think we are better than Wednesday and Mk Dons. If nothing else, McKenna has the team playing with belief.

Thrown out and farting like thunder in the driveway. That Haggis, man? Rocket fuel. Only ate it at 6pm. Jaysus H.
Yep, agreed. Thought a draw tonight, but very good away win. Loving the new belief, regardless of performance. They're believing in themselves. Will say draw again for the weekend and hope it's wrong again.valleyroad wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 11:38 pmReally good win tonight. Picking up points away from home is key. And nice win for the Buddies. On loan Wolvo mid? GnB will be cheesin'!
