MK Dons Away
Having had a quick look on the club website it would appear that we must have sold over 6,000 tickets for this game now.
This must show the owners what potential there is if they can bring success to the club.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up getting more tickets and exceeding that 7k total…..

Re: MK Dons Away
Really? Wonder why, when they gave Wolves 8k ? They don’t have a massive home crowd of their own do they?

Re: MK Dons Away
Not sure if it’s true but read that the police have now put a limit on how many away fans they can have and therefore the Wolves 8,000 is unlikely to be repeated.hallamblue wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 10:26 pmReally? The game when they took 8,800 was back in 2014. At the time they were going for automatic promotion and ended up winning the league. I think the number we are taking is pretty impressive as our chances of finishing in the top 6 are slim at this moment in time.

Charny
Just had a thought it could be the police have now limited the number of away fans as they are fed up with people getting lost driving around Milton Keynes grid road system!

When I went a couple of seasons ago I think I counted something like 27 roundabouts approach the ground !!

It’s pretty simple once you get used to it as long as you know exactly where you are. Once you get disoriented it’s pretty hopeless to recover.Shed on tour wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 10:33 amCharny

Re: MK Dons Away
This all started with Coventry taking over 6k there, so Wolves fans started up a challenge called, 10k to Mk, they limited us to the 8k as you say but was reckoned we took near on 11k. a lot of people sitting on their hands, well until we scored .Shed on tour wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:42 amThe game when they took 8,800 was back in 2014. Copy of a quote from youtube
"I think the vast majority of Wolves fans who consistently travel away will agree that the League One teams have the best supporters compared to the plastic and pretentious fans we have encountered at Premier League and some Championship clubs. It was a pleasure meeting you all and it was the best season I have had for a long while. "

I'm a MK Dons fan and I've been to premier league matches and that was the most amazing away crowd I've ever seen thank you wolves fans

It’ll be interesting to see what Town fans do because our lot don’t stop singling throughout the whole game ….

Re: MK Dons Away
well you lot do have a lot to say for yourselves Liz, serious though the home fans are OK, Their tickets were only sold to MK Don fans with a local post code, which meant fans from other areas got tickets via mates or sat in the away sections, apparently we had over 2k in those areas.hallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 8:53 amIt’ll be interesting to see what Town fans do because our lot don’t stop singling throughout the whole game ….
the big rip off was British Rail doubled the fair from Wolvo, so most fans had to travel to other stations then to MK.

Re: MK Dons Away
think it was the Netherton Wolves who got that thing going, apparently MK Dons had some disabled tickets left and it was reported that a load of wheelchairs had gone missing from the Wolvo local hospital
What a rip off.
Normal Train tickets from Wolvo to Bletchley £6-00. Or £6-00 return,
On that day it increase to £37.20 single or £38.20.
