Jackson is the sole striker? Strange. Morsey is back.

Jackson? Can’t work that one out. Must be doing something right in training.

And Evans not fit, so Bakinson gets another go. All this talk of Missing Morsy….. bet he has a mare today.

Town: Walton, Donacien, Woolfenden, Edmundson, Burns, Bakinson, Morsy (C), Thompson, Chaplin, Celina, Bonne.

Subs: Hladky, Burgess, Vincent-Young, Carroll, Aluko, Bonne, Norwood.

Sorry, Ash. Simpson not made the squad again. You’re still on ‘talking bollocks’ status.

Jackson up front on his own that's a poor decision IMO plus he will be gone at the end of the season.

Jackson starting as the lone striker is bizarre, big decision from KM, glad Bakinson kept his place as Evans was so poor Tuesday and Carroll is cack.

Not usually feeling prompted to comment pre-game on a saturday……. But yep; Jackson solely up front ? 6 wins from 8……. And now THIS decision?
As Tangfastic says, Can only be a training ground “plan” being tested. Fingers crossed something positive comes from this. He is sort of exposing his nuts for possible ridicule.

Go get em, Kayden 👍👍

We will defo be playing the counter attack today then, Celina, Chaplin and Jackson are the most suited to that.

Bit of a gamble but let’s see!

Jackson can’t play a lone striker role can he!! Blimey bit of risk in such a big game isn’t it .

“In McKenna we trust” then 🤞🤞

First goal is KEY today! If it’s us then it suits us to play on the counter, but if it’s then we will be in trouble.

Neither team conceed many goals so makes that first goal even more important.

Jackson shouldn't be anywhere near the first team, see mk dons playing 3 up front.

None of our strikers have exactly been on fire over the last few weeks so let's hope this is a masterstroke by KM! COYB

I actually thought Jackson played very well last time out, helped make the first goal.

They look quicker than us in attack vs defence at both ends of the pitch so far . Jackson is very half hearted in his “ closing down “… that’s not good enough by far …

We've had 2 really good opportunities to break and Celina had messed it up both times

Mistake by Bakinson but as Mills said why the hell play it to him with Three players near him.

MKD teasing our backs then up the pace to the byline , and whips the cross in : THATS what I’d like us to be doing .

Good half by Town … just need to get a different striker on imo . Jackson offers absolutely nothing !

Well pleased with that half, dominated the last 30 minutes apart from last couple of minutes. Closing them down really well. Morsy been very good, Woolfy for the most part been very good too. This is here for us.

Probably the best quality game I’ve seen this season with two teams wanting to play football. But cancelling each other out and not many chances. I’ll take 0-0 at HT, if McK can make some good substitutions. Morsy really looks good. Not really sure what Jackson adds in front of Norwood and Bonne yet. Maybe a tight game for Celina to win.
