Not our best half but still we lead, our passing has been very poor, final ball often lacking, approach play up to the box is ok. Donacien, Evans, Chaplin and Davis keep giving the ball away, even Walton had a couple of dodgy moments towards end of the half. Been impressed with TJJ , Morsy and Woolfenden. I'm sure we will see a big improvement and get the game put to bed.

We have been very sloppy simple passing not good enough. Town look lethargic. Shrewsbury are crap, step it up another 10% should win this easy. Got to improve in the 2nd half.

83% passing accuracy, it doesn’t get much better than that especially with 73% possession.

From where I’m sitting it looks a pretty solid away performance with Town in complete control albeit with only one goal to show for it. The only blemish for me is Morsy picking up a yellow card so early in the game, when we he learn.

The yellow card was Donaciens fault

I’ll need to see it again, I thought it was blatant and in their half of the pitch under no pressure.

Brilliant pass from Leif Davis well taken by Chaplin. I think we’re looking pretty good if I’m honest.

I hope I’m not wrong but I really don’t see them scoring. We just need to make sure we stay solid at the back as they will come at us for awhile but will hopefully run out of steam.

Good build up play from Aluko and Leif Davis again. Morsy shot blocked on the line and alert follow up from Jackson. A very good performance from Town against very average opposition.

It was obvious in live play it was a penalty, that only confirms it.

…. or possibly the perfect tackle of the season. Would be good to see in slow mo.

So we win 3-0 easily..... and all the talk is about the penalty that wasn't given. I guess there's more mileage in drama and feeling wronged. If we're going to get bad luck /decisions against us it's better we have it when we win easily.

I didn't even think we played that well. Bit sloppy, passing in the first half wayward. But we've got a bit of extra class on the pitch to find the net and we seem to be able to see out games more easily. It was pipe and slippers the last 20-30 minutes. It felt all a bit too easy, but not complaining.

Great start to the season.... but I'm really looking forward to see us against a Sheff Wed or a Peterborough or a Derby because until we play a top team not sure how good we are.
