Hi all,

Just a random thread to appreciate what is going on at the club right now, especially given the years of decay previously.

Lets really try and enjoy this moment, even if it doesn't go as smooth as we'd all want, but look at all these positives.......

+ Money behind the club, and its good clean money at that, driven by passionate, likable, smart custodians
+ A special manager, clearly a very smart guy with a very bright future, someone who can actually take and improve players
+ A very strong squad, players either young and upcoming or in their prime, mixed with some wiser old heads, of course we always want more but the squad really doesn't have any glaring weakness.
+ The fans are back, great support home and away
+ Everyone pulling the the same direction, lead by a CEO who is really delivering, improvements being made in every area
+ Playing great attractive, attacking, possession based football which is brilliant to watch
+ Great kits, great sponsor - being linked with such a high profile star is great exposure
+ Now we are the ones taking rivals best players, and they WANT to come here, so different to taking cast offs like in years gone by!

Lets really try and enjoy this season, of course promotion would be nice but we must realise we will be winning alot more this year then if we are in the championship next season.

Its just so positive and I'm really loving it.

Great Post and some would do well to read it and grasp the positivity which as you say is engulfing our football club right now. It just feels like it's finally our time. Of course we won't win every game or play well but l am of the opinion we won't be disappointed come May. Enjoy the journey.

Spot on Shabba and every point you make is a valid, add to which the Club have also come up trumps and strengthened the squad on the final day of the transfer window with not one, but two new signings one of whom knows where to find the back of the net.

I can’t remember the last time I felt so upbeat and engaged with our football club, and I look forward to watching every single game with enthusiasm and expectation albeit only on ifollow which I so enjoy.

I’ve copied my post from another thread to here as seems more appropriate thread:

Just WHAT a squad we have now. OMG I can’t believe the absolute quality we have. And they will only get better as the season progresses. If we don’t go up this season, then we never will. The really scary thing is, this squad is probably already a very good Championship squad ( having watched the championship games this week), Town’s level of football appears way above what these teams were producing!

Indeed, we are statistically the best performing team in England at the moment, long may it continue.
