Gutted, he and Morsey and the only ones who have that ability to take the ball in tight spaces, make smart passes/turns and keep the ball.

Should never have been selected for such a horseshit event. Didn't require one first teamer on that night. McKenna should have picked out an entire reserve squad, wouldn't have been no six goal win but a probable victory nonetheless.

Never been won over by Aluko as a reliable player in that he just doesn't find target often enough. All right he may play well, make assists or work hard, but as a striker just doesn't contribute in that area of the field nowhere near enough. He's not alone, we got a few others like that already.

Would rather have two names that contribute often over a half-dozen that find goal few and far between.

Aluko is a,disappointing one but could happen in training or anywhere, pleased Chaplin is ok as he's been starting ahead of Aluko anyway.

Yeah but injuries can happen at anytime, not just at these events, he is just unlucky and I hope he gets back fit as quickly as possible.

He has always been an attacking midfielder for me, one who drives forward and connects, not a big goalscorer but his effort and play we will miss and it is down to the team to cover which I am sure KM is driving them to do.

Gives time for the new lad(s) or another to step in.
