Game over for me I’m afraid. We haven’t got a goal in us now.

Pissing around at the back again, but OMG what a well struck goal.

Yes - we are the best in the league for long periods hut have this uncanny knack creating our own downfall... its terribly depressing when we know we can do it!! Bloody sky....

This is our Achilles heel. I’ve said all season s half decent side will capitalise on our square slow passing across the back . We’ve been the better side and the same two factors have cost us once again .
Ref decision
Giving the ball away across the back four.

Look at the bigger picture, since Ladapo went off the ball is not sticking up front. His hold up play was bringing others into the game and we are sorely missing that now.

Thing is (and we see it every week), if teams put us under pressure when we do it at the back then chances are we will give them a chance. Not sure mckenna will change but its certainly the case.

Does anyone else wish we’d worn a different strip today ? … certainly on tv the two kits are far too similar.

First time this season we’ve had less than 6 mins injury …. What a surprise .

Re: League 1 - Plymouth Argyle vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Same problems in my view.
: don’t put our chances away when we’re clearly on top
: gift the goal usually giving it away in or around our 18yard area. Always punished.
: ref decisions at key moments always going against us. That’s 4 games this season that the ref had made a call at a key moment which has cost us.
Plymouth we’re a good side ( but certainly nothing special), but in truth we’ve gifted them the game today …. Again!
Finally. We have too many key players out injured for these key games.

Disappointing result. I guess we had to lose sometime and no surprise really that it’s down there.
Anyway, good to have that fixture out of the way. We move on - upwards and onwards!

I don’t think we deserved to lose although to be fair we gifted them the winning goal. I would have just loved Christian Waltons header to have been the equaliser it deserved to give for me a fitting end to a brilliant game of football.

The only problem now is if Pompey win their game in hand we drop to 3rd.

Yes difficult to see whos ,who, especially using a mobile, turned off the sky commentary, don't care for their biased opinions, how many times did that idiot mention Morsy should of been sent off for a nasty tackle, Plymouth player does virtually the same thing, doesn't even get mentioned
