Watford
Watford has sacked Edwards after just 10 games and they are going to appoint Slaven Bilic, best of luck to him he's going to need it.

Re: Watford
What a complete joke of a club they are. Anyone going there to do the managers job must be completely blind, deluded or simply insane, because they will not last a season.

Re: Watford
We disposed of Hurst in around the same number of games a year or two back. Didn't they hire Vialli and Zola at one time for separate jobs, it were never going to work for them. Something of a gimmick or to write a few headlines, think recall they didn't stay in position too long.
Graham Taylor did for them at one time what Robson managed with us if you take any trophies out the equation. Went from general obscurity to a team able to challenge the very best, nearly winning the League and putting together a side with some star names and indisputable caliber.
Saw them live at an F.A. Cup Final and while a memorable occasion was kind of spoiled by some fans of the Hertfordshire team after the event looking for some kind of retribution. Took in a Christmas vacation that year at a hotel someplace, lo and behold some fans of their team had booked the same venue also. Kind of hazy after so many years but can recall now some minor hostilities. Guess animosity or (feeling of) injustice was just about still raw around the time.

…. Or an intelligent out of work manager might see an outstanding opportunity to get back into management knowing that if it doesn’t work out he pockets hundreds of thousands in compensation. Or even better see an opportunity where he thinks he can do well, not a bad start for Slaven Bilić, in his first game in charge after just 6 days in the job Watford won 4-0 away to Stoke City. Maybe he’s not so daft at all Liz.
