One thing for sure we can’t afford to go a goal down.

I think we need to engage Plan B sometime very soon.

Sounds frustrating stuff, even more so when i see Plymouth are still 1-1 and in the 86th minute of that match!

Plymouth have also won.....
Mind you the plus side to that sees us open up a 4 point gap over 3rd place Wednesday!
Ok so there are teams who have games in hand below that, but I'd rather have points in the bag any day

The table is looking good apart from those green shites above us, hoping Pompey get a bad run now.

To be honest that might not be as bad a result as we think as it creates a nice gap between the top 2 and the teams in the pkay off places.

Bogey team? My a*se!
Being able to bring on such quality and pace against a tiring side! That looks like it could win us a fair few games this season!

That was our 20th clean sheet in 38 games since Kieron McKenna arrived at Portman Road. That’s an incredible defensive stat which helps us build up a decent goal difference which takes us to 15 for the season.

Inspired substitutions once again by KMc. Cambridge got what they deserved to be honest. Could of been more. 3pts in the bag.

.. and yet a further 3 points gained compared to last season's result! Sure I read somewhere we were already 20 points up on the same (similar opposition in the case of Forest Green) fixtures before tonight! That is phenomenal.mendipblue wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 10:11 pmInspired substitutions once again by KMc. Cambridge got what they deserved to be honest. Could of been more. 3pts in the bag.

Good result in the end and pleased for Kyle.
Table is looking good. Much as it would be nice to be top, I think I prefer Wednesday being kept at bay. I think as the season goes on they’ll be the stronger challenger for the automatic places. Plymouth started well last year but fell away. I think their remote location is great for them at home but tells in their away form.

Next up Morecambe away who are so far winless at home and who will no doubt park the bus for as long as they can hoping for a respectable score line. Tonight’s match was good preparation, let’s wish for a similar outcome.
