Wow......, was definitely not at those games. I'd remember that.

Looks a very good signing.

Stay fit, young man

Now, I am not doubting this, Mariner...., promise.

But it is making me think of a player Hibs signed many moons ago from the Glasgow Queens Park. (Not QPR)......., and a Hibs guy on a coach to an away game had said, "Yeah, was talking to a Queens Park fan....."
INSTANTLY, other guys on the bus were like, "WHAT? FK OFF! You don't know any Queens Park fans. NO ONE KNOWS a Queens Park fan!"

Oh I know lots of QPR supporters, as most of my family come from that area of London.

Is it fair to say the Harrys have now replaced the Stanleys in modern football???

He's 21 years old but has played 78 games and hopefully KMc will get the best out of him, Broadhead at 25 has only played 62 games and Davis who looked very poor the first few games had only played 21 games before coming here and with Humphreys we look to be in a good position for the future IMO.

We’ve spent over 4m now this season so nobody can doubt the owners commitment. Let’s really hope these new signings can give us a boost.

I reckon with four young Championship-level players through the door in this window, in positions we need strengthening, it's turning out better than I expected.

Tbh little about him but have to give him a chance, he is young, had a good coaching so lets see if KM and the boys can bring him on a make him a good addition to the squad. Surely if he is a 'plumb' he wouldn't of been signed as MA and KM want a certain type to fit it, we will see.

Welcome back and prepare for battle.

This made me smile - it's copied from an EADT article on Clarke.

The former Town academy player returns after more than seven years away from Suffolk, during which he has become a man, grown significantly in a physical sense and picked up some vital experience.

Has he transitioned? What if he wants to change back............

Harriette Clarke?

Baggott to Cheltenham could be tactical move. Cheltenham's
next 2 games are against Plymouth and Wednesday. If he helps prevent losses that would benefit Town. 🤔

Well McKenna has certainly been backed this window in regards to strengthening the squad. I just hope that it works out and the money which has been spent on fees and loans (which is considerable for a league 1 club) doesn’t come back to bite us later.
Although Schwartz (and he is the key man) said on his visit that they are in it for the long haul, I do wonder what will happen if we don’t get out of this league in the next couple of seasons.
As Derby proved in the Championship you can spend big but it doesn’t always get you to where you want to be.

What we can't do is moan about the investment, EVERY man and his dog has said if we had strengthened under McCarthy when we went top at Brentford we'd have gone up so we can't use this as an excuse if it goes tits up.

The key to this investment is getting out of this poxy league, if not this season definitely next. The manager has been backed, now it is up to the manager and players to produce the goods.

Quite. And on the whole, I don't think fans are moaning. Just look at last weekend's match attendance..29k and it felt like it. It was one of the best atmospheres I can remember.

KMcK just has to make sure that the new players don't upset the squad dynamics, as I think they are currently a pretty tight group.

What I am impressed with is the age and potential of the squad. We are not adding on-loan or short-term contract 'has-beens' looking for a last payday. Keough is perhaps an exception but I understand why as he adds a bit of experience and by all accounts is a really positive influence in the dressing room.

There is no doubt the feel good factor around the club is the highest it has been for years as proved by attendances, shirt sales and other things. This is why I feel that it is so important that we gain promotion either this season or next as if not things could change very quickly. As we know football fans are very fickle, had to laugh at the blue moon (Man City) forum last night, at half-time a lot of them reckoned Pep’s time was up and the majority of the team should be sold and it needed a total rebuild. As you can guess at full-time it was an entirely different matter.
Imo this is our window of opportunity and we really have to take it this time. If for no other reason than I would like the opportunity to celebrate another promotion party before I pop my clogs!

Same at every club Mike. Look at Arteta, last season the majority of Arsenal fans were calling for his head, now at this moment in time he can do no wrong. It will be the same with us if we don’t go up in the next couple of seasons, attendances will no doubt drop dramatically again and that is when the owners might start to question their investment.
Hopefully it won’t come to this but as I have already stated feel that we really have to take this opportunity. If not it might be a long time before another comes along.

Anyone else getting the feeling Whittaker could well end up back on loan at Plymouth on deadline day? Seems the Rangers deal is stalling and can’t see anyone else on the horizon for him. If we went in for him I don’t think he’d come here over Plymouth

Matt Penney has joined Charlton on loan for the rest of the season hopefully he will do well, but I've just seen his contract expires on June 30th so looks like we won't be getting a fee.

Town rebuff Hull who were after Edwards, I don't think he will make it at Ipswich he can be good but he's not consistent enough I would let him go.
