Oh the irony of Oxford fans singing 'boring boring arsenal' after how they played against us and had it sung to them!

You’re not wrong there Liz, but what a shocking first half from the Gunners who were easily held by a well organised Oxford. I suggest this gives us a window of hope if Vincent Kompany plays us with a second string X1 in the 4th Round.

I think the lower league sides have done well against championship/ PL teams in the 3rd round. I think it’s the subliminal psychology behind it all that’s fascinating to me. The top ( better team/ players), try as they might to suppress it are driven ( or lack of it in their cases) by that little voice deep within that’s keeps saying ….” We’ll be alright…. We’re better than them” Arsenal , Newcastle, Villa , Forest etc, and try as they might are all in a slightly cruise mode . I can tell you from the sport I used to play . It’s really hard to get out of that mode. All these teams caught a cold. Yet that reverse psychology of the so called underdog, Blackpool, Stevenage etc …. Feel they’ve got nothing to lose snd have no respect for reputations or league standing. They’re there to be knocked down aren’t they. So they’re right up for it . Adrenaline is pumping through their veins ( probably a lot higher rate than their
“ better “ opponent.
That’s our problem every game at home, our opponents come here adrenaline pumping, lol !
Anyway, that’s why the FA cup holds the attention every season. There’s always that chance of a giant killing isn’t there.
But I don’t think Burnley will underestimate us somehow .

Popped up on my 'feed' a video finally with multiple angles that weren't 300m away.marko69 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 10:48 pmHad to fwd the link to the bro-in-law to put it onto his 60 thousand inch telly......., & zoom in. There genuinely is no obvious contact there.Ricco wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 10:32 pmBut the covering defender kept the ball in at a jog and KVY was far closer to it when he went down, he'd have got there first and there was a man in the middle, can't see it myself. Even a tickle and one foot being the other, like toe tap in rugby, on your face. Can't say that happened, you could be right, there could be no contact.
Obviously agree on the bottom line though, if blatant dive, 10 game ban, let's see how quickly diving becomes a thing of the past.
And the part in bold......, completely disagree with that also
You've got to just LOVE the fitbaw eh, Ricco......, we are all arseholes with opinions.
No, that's not how the saying goes.......,
Wait.....,

Definitely contact, definitely went down too easily. So maybe we're both right and both wrong? I think our opinions are arseholes, that's the saying, right?

Bloody hell, I wish we'd analyse all the numerous things that have gone against us this much !!
Pen all day long, only owed about 15 decisions now to even it up.
