Barnsley away to FGR & Lincoln

We have to win both to put pressure on these other three promotion contenders, because our
“ game in hand” is away to Barnsley in s difficult week of two away games (Peterborough & Barnsley) so we need these next 6points.

We’re pretty much at the half way stage of the “Run In” and I think we’d pretty much all have been quite happy to accept progress so far if it was on offer at the start.

Found this piece quite interesting, all about the best goalkeeping clean sheet minutes across the top 4 flights since 1990. Walton is sitting a proud 3rd, only behind Van der Saar & Cech!

OMG I didn’t realise Darren Moore was so disliked, it would be so easy to replace his name with Mick McCarthy during his later days at Portman Road. If you believe everything said we could write Wednesday off and just worry about Barnsley but we all know that would be foolish.

That’s 12 points Wednesday have dropped since this thread began with Barnsley and Plymouth dropping 6 points each and Town just 2 points.

In fact Wednesday have only won only 1 of their last 7 games played which is unbelievable given how well they were going and looked firm favourites to win the League just 4 weeks ago.

The three front runners all won midweek by the same 2-1 margin on a night when Plymouth looked like dropping two points which they saved on 90+6 mins to leave the table placing unchanged.
