Town 3 Spurs 2

Apparently we played a 70min match at Spurs today vs a XI side, Chaplin hatrick :)

No doubt lots of rotation from us, plus a cobbled together side from them as I assume most are on International duty. Still all good :)

At least it’s more competitive than training. Just hope and pray Wes Burns and Nathan Broadhead return from International duties uninjured.

First thought why pick one of our most pivotal influential players for a game of this nature then (after) viewing a game report seems most of the first team made the trip to feature in it. It's important key players are kept away other than when really required what with risk of injury etc.

Saying that it's a result to take pride in. So what if the opponents didn't take it serious or fielded a reserve team, without question it showed character and depth within our team to procure a score like that. Still believe it were a risk / unnecessary to take on an event such as it were what with so many instrumental players of our own featured.
