Macauley Bonne
Well done for going into the disabled section in Sir Alf Lower and giving your shirt to a young girl. Also, for shaking hands with some of the boys in that section and putting your arm around my daughter. Top man.

Re: Macauley Bonne
I swear to god he deliberately nodded that ball back to Walton in the first half instead of going for the goal !

Re: Macauley Bonne
I really enjoy seeing players making fans especially kids happy, it costs nothing and means so much. The real class shows when they still do it after a defeat especially after as bad a one as Charlton suffered yesterday.
Well done to Macauley Bonne, great stuff.

Re: Macauley Bonne
He is finding himself in hot water with the Charlton fans today after posting some tweets or something liking pictures of the Town fans following his sides 0-6 drubbing, not good timing me thinks.

Incredibly nice guy ….. and nice gesture……. But yep, horrendous timing on the wrong end of a 6-0 tanking.

Don't think the Charlton fans have much to moan about, you can't compete with a lifetime of support for a club, their season is over, and even if Bonne played like 30 year old Messi, they still lose!

Had a little nose, apparently he liked an Instagram Post celebrating the win too
I'm sure I'd moan a bit if the boot was on the other foot, but I'm sure it'll blow over, or he won't be bothered anyway, it has no real affect on them, they have bigger issues to moan about.
I did see one post that said "Ladapo off the bench at this level is a p*ss take"

Especially when you see Bakinson in Wednesdays starting line up, he wouldn’t even make it on our bench.

Iorfa is not top of Wednesday’s fans popularity list either.Charnwood wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 3:05 pmRicco wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 1:55 pmHad a little nose, apparently he liked an Instagram Post celebrating the win too

Re: Macauley Bonne
Bonne dropped by Charlton for liking an ITFC post and a fan one celebrating the 6-0.
Pretty funny really but I guess we'd be annoyed if it was us.

Yes he was a bit of a plonker wasn’t he .
Suspect that’s him finished with Charlton now!

Bonne-kers. Plenty silly, but I'm sure he understood very well what he was doing and simply didn't care.

Re: Macauley Bonne
Seems that was the death knell of his Charlton career. He didn't play for them again after we thrashed them and has now been released.JohnnyB wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 10:04 amBonne dropped by Charlton for liking an ITFC post and a fan one celebrating the 6-0.

Oops
Ah well, he was hardly thriving there. If he saw his future there, I'd bet he would have been more sensible.

Re: Macauley Bonne
If you read the forums, they’re a nothing club, MacBonne…….. and you are Ipswich Town thru & thru , you’ve proved that.
With this wee highlights reel, you’ll find a club with decent wages no problem whatsoever. All the best to you.

Just appears innocuous at best. What was it, crime of the century ? Ted Bundy, Stalin, that level of indecency.
Had to do an edit, some things can't or shouldn't be said, but to shape things another way there's certain corners on-line where something gets said and all manner of mayhem ensues. It's maybe not so much right and wrong but how some perceive anyone's actions, that's essentially the Bonne issue here. One comment on-line and some f*cker blows a fuse. It's a shame, but in no way surprising.
I remember Bonne here for a goal run over specific time. Daryl Murphy kind of thing. Wasn't to last but for a time at least, it was like having Puskas in your starting XI.
