Re: Fixtures here
Absolutely gutted that Norwich at home is the day I dock at Southampton after a mini cruise, praying they change it to the Sunday.

Re: Fixtures here
I’d say it’s almost 100% certain the Derby games will be moved to a Sunday 12noon ko - driven by The Plod. Bloody snowflakes ! You have to wonder how they police a Manchester, Liverpool or Glasgow derby match . They ruin the whole experience of a Saturday 3pm ko derby match .

Away to Sunderland, not a bad starter all considered.

Re: Fixtures here
Happy with the fixtures, first game is fairly tough but then some nicer fixtures and I think it will be good to get Leeds out of the way early whilst they are still settling.
SO much more exciting to be playing these teams than those in league 1!
Boxing day home to Leicester is quite tastey too.

Re: Fixtures here
I’m just a little pissed off that I agreed to go on holiday for most of August and may struggle to find places to watch our first 5 games. Sunderland away was one of the games I really wanted to go to so that’s completely out of the question. It looks like I’ll be watching on Town TV on a MacBook at best unless the hotels we’re staying in whilst “on the road” have access to Sky Tv. Hopefully the house were renting for 3 weeks in Galicia will have a smart tv so I can mirror Town tv onto the telly. If not I’ll be gutted.

Re: Fixtures here
At least I can see a few games I should be able to get to. Leeds away and Leicester at home on Boxing Day are two possibilities subject of course being able to get tickets which maybe a challenge especially having lost contact with most of my previous contacts at Portman Road.
If anyone’s away for Christmas and can help with 2 tickets for that fixture I’ll happily pay a sensible price for them.
If tickets become impossible I’ll try the Corporate route although I’d prefer to be with the real fans.

Ensure you have a silver membership, at least helps with getting tickets ahead of general sale.Charnwood wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 1:01 pmAt least I can see a few games I should be able to get to. Re: Fixtures here
How much do the memberships cost out of interest? I found it tricky to get to some away games last year and wondered if this would help me? failing that I will try and get to a couple of home games next season and catchup with Liz and Mike

Re: Fixtures here
Its a no brainer IMO, its about ~£30 and you get a free ticket (home), plus tickets are released ahead of general sale, still not always easy to get a ticket but thats the current demand

It pays for itself given the free ticket, well worth it!

Re: Fixtures here
I think from memory the gold card was something like £20, but I think you need to be ST holder to get that. Then there’s the Silver membership £15 ish. Thing is Dazza I think getting tickets for home games is going to be very difficult. Away games maybe not so hard at the bigger clubs. I can see Town bringing in a different ticket.

Re: Fixtures here
Disappointed with both Norwich dates, especially the first one on December 16th.
Shocking time to wait for a derby.
Couple that with the possibility of interest being lost and manager sackings sometimes happening around Xmas. Not good. A late September derby would’ve been ideal. The lead up games to the game aren’t great either; Boro & Watford.
Hopefully (
) the team are flying and none of the above matters.

Re: Fixtures here
This is what concerns me. A lot of visiting teams will bring large followings. If you say 2k time you allow for security/segregating from home fans + 21k season ticket holders, you're looking at about 6.5k remaining seats before Membership holders (will this number be capped?) have their bite at the pie! I worry there'll be very limited remaining for General Sale, maybe apart from the less appealing matches.hallamblue wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 4:33 pmI think from memory the gold card was something like £20, but I think you need to be ST holder to get that. Re: Fixtures here
Cheers Shabba/Liz, I was thinking along the same lines about home ticket availability and anyway to help me getting one is a bonus, think I will wait till they release the Silver ticket prices (or an alternative) etc and go down that route. As you say Shabba, a no brainer really with what the benefits are

Re: Fixtures here
I suspect with some larger away venues to visit, it will be easier getting tickets for away games this season. - but definitely home matches will be difficult.

Re: Fixtures here
Let’s just hope and pray that Ipswich Town TV is live before the start of the season. It seems to me to be the most promising way many of us are likely to watch our team play for a while.

Re: Fixtures here
I remember going to Watford many years ago. My 2 memories are :
They checked my bag and insisted that I could only take in a bottle of water if they took the lid; and half an hour later inside the ground they sold bottles of coke with the lid on.
I paid in one of the multi storey car parks on the ring road. It took an hour to get out the car park after the match.

It will be. Also First game is on sky anyway so you could watch it (via NowTV day pass I’d you don’t have full sky).

Re: Fixtures here
Apparently there’s a 3k waiting list for season tickets! Next summers off pitch work will undoubtedly be increasing stadium capacity . Wonder what 3k ST revenue ( that’s essentially lost to the club right now), is worth?
