Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
And years further back, 1965, Hibernian, the first British club in the Euro comp.
But all history. Very distant, “almost didn’t even happen” history. A bit like the SBR years for young Ipswich fans today.
And Rangers were indeed a decent side…… until they went bust. Ceased. Liquidated. No more.
It’ll happen again to the new Sevco. You wait and see.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Their fans had a confrontation with us some weeks back, let's see them try it with Millwall..
Leicester lost but Norwich beat Cardiff by. 3 - 2. Crazy sh*t both us them and both South Wales teams involved in exact same scores today. Wagner bought himself some time but the exit can't be still far away. Vote of confidence received from both Delia and Mike Jones won't really be enough to save his as*.

Yep, a ten quid double on that would've seen a decent Xmas! East Angular defeat Wales 3-2.arana peligrosa wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 6:14 pm........Norwich beat Cardiff by. 3 - 2. Crazy sh*t both us them and both South Wales teams involved in exact same scores today......

Wycombe v Stevenage game ended in the 90 (+26) minute. Got to be a record so far.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Curious of a bet of this strange outcome......, had to do a calculation. Based the calculation on a £10 stake and both outcomes being around 25/1 odds. (Could be better odds, but based on that) ---->> £6760.00.marko69 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 6:35 pmYep, a ten quid double on that would've seen a decent Xmas! Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Scots Cup Third Round gets underway this weekend, it's a showpiece event of the season and while Cumnock versus Broom Hill isn't for everyone it means a lot to the fans and teams involved, just regular clubs trying to make a living or hope of progression etc.
Pick of the ties for me include Falkirk (finalists in '97) against Formartine, Broxburn and Buckie Thistle, Spartans with Arbroath, not to mention Partick and Queens Park. The more established SPL names aren't involved until later rounds, years back that would be unheard of, but the stage is set for lesser illustrious club teams to go out and make names for themselves.
Women's F.A Cup in progress also, too many names to mention but our women (ITFC) got themselves a home tie with Sutton Coldfield ladies. Seems to be more games involved there than the men's own competition but suppose we get through and make further progress, maybe even a Final appearance, it can only be a further impressive reading for the club name what with McKenna and the team going so well right now.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
THANK YOU, The Millers
🥳🥳🥳
Edit: and it just goes to show the teams at the bottom are often much harder to play against . Survival and all that ….

I could be wrong but I think Rotherham’s home record is pretty good.

They've only lost twice at home, good result for us even if we don't win tomorrow

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
It’ll be another game ticked off the fixture list . If we could possibly maintain the gap the games eventually start to run out for teams.

Spot on.. Whatever tomorrows result, will still be a three game turnaround at very least for Leeds to overtake ushallamblue wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 11:21 pmIt’ll be another game ticked off the fixture list . If we could possibly maintain the gap the games eventually start to run out for teams.

Glad I don’t gamble cuz I would have put money on Leeds beating the Millers. I think we can beat WBA.

Yeah but there was a piece on the Pink Un just recent where they question can they survive a fall into League One. Wasn't much talk about any promotion or hope to catch ourselves. Any fan there must realize they're just not good enough to challenge the promotion places. Sheffield Wednesday look, in so many words, in a whole lot of trouble..

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
I think Sheffield Weds are in a whole lot of trouble. They’ve got an ageing squad, a prat for an owner who makes Evans look like a Saint a a nd appear to rely a lot on one player. I’m not surprised to see them struggling this season.arana peligrosa wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 7:41 pmYeah but there was a piece on the Pink Un just recent where they question can they survive a fall into League One.
